Wow, they pretty much nailed this battle. A great job of highlighting the thinking and strategy that makes JJBA such a great series. So far this OVA is much better than the 2000 one.

Yea this episode was really good, they made a nice finish of the battle and the cliffhanger with Dio's coffin made it even more interesting! lets see what happens next!

This. I also liked how Joutarou seems more talkative. Feels like he barely uttered a word in the other OVA.

This fight was really close to the manga version, which I wasn't expecting. Other than extending the fight a little, it was almost a direct adaptation. Not much else to say, it was cool to see one of the more serious fights of the Egypt arc done with a large budget OVA.

Good stuff, looking forward to the Darby fight since lots of people said that the OVA version was better than the tv anime.

I agree. It was pretty interesting fight but i wonder whether the ova series will have conclusion considering that there's only four episodes to go.

I felt kind of bad for Iggy throughout the episode. But it seems like he and Jotaro will get along from now on

Rip N'Dool what a great opponent for not spilling secrets to his opponent except his own.Was pretty awesome how both of them can use their senses and knowledge to calculate stuff.

I haven't read the manga or watched the tv series, so the plot is a bit confusing for me. But, I like it!

With only four episodes left, I highly doubt this ova is going to be a truncated version of a whole lot of the later half of part 3. I'm assuming they might skip to the middle for the next two episodes, and then spend the last two on the final battle.

I liked this episode at lot more than the last, and to be honest, this is probably my favourite version of the N'Doul fight. Loved the little mime scene where Avdol's trying to get Polnareff to jump off the crate, loved how they directed the scene of Star Platinum throwing Iggy too, it was at the moment it became my favourite version of it.

DaAaAaAaAmmmmn… LITERALLY [b]5 MINUTES and 10 SECONDS[b] IN before the episode begun. 😵

[b]7 MINUTES and 3 SECONDS[b] until something actually NOTEWORTHY happened. Thank you Polnareff for spazzing out like that lol. Otherwise, before that it was a minute of panning around the area, showing us stuff we already knew was taking place in the last episode. They didn’t need to introduce where the characters were, we already knew Polnareff was on a box, Joseph was under the truck, and Jotaru was doing his own thing. Ugh. Unnecessary panning and stills to build up the episode duration time for production-sake. Typical 90’s animes. But that’s really one of my first complaints since Episode 1. I guess there will be a SLIGHTLY lesser animation quality considering this was made in the early 90’s as opposed to the first seven episodes.

But yeah. Gotta love Polnareff. And when he frantically looks around after Avdol told him to jump. 😂 Luckily after a while, he made the jump just in time. (Side note, did you notice the sound effect they inserted was frantically cut off/stopped?)

I'm not saying that this is better than the source material, but I did adore the changes to this fight. The main thing was forcing us to suffocate in the stillness the rest of the characters had to. The manga quickly turned into the Jotaro-Iggy sequence, but the OVA lingered for a tangible amount of time. It also poetically sandwiched the episode in intense stillness, when N'doul was on the hunt, and when Jotaro was. For one of the most badass fights and villains, giving it all the more weight through suffocating the audience only feels right.

I have really loved the Hanged Man and Geb, although at least the 2000 series had some bumps, when the OVA does some of the most kino JoJo fights like these two, they can feel like a beautiful highlight reel. The music and the art is great. And the additions feel great too.

Great episode.

This had more going for it than the first episode. Had a real cinematic feel to it.
