| Whoa....... This is why I love the crew so much, especially Zoro! It amazes me that Luffy went through so much pain but he didn't really show it. One little bubble caused Zoro to be in so much pain, and for him to take the remaining like that-- I'm just speechless. That's a lot of blood loss, too! ZORO!!! T___T no more fighting for a while for you! This pains me so much :( |

| What an amazing episode.. Zoro proving himself to be an absolute bossman once again! I had a feeling Kuma might spare them in one way or another. It was really the only way they could get out of that situation. Even though his presence and power is menacing, he doesn't seem truly evil like many of the other antagonists. |

| At first, this episode disappointed me. No fight? No epic action and animation? But when I reflected, I realized what was the real point. Kuma gives Zoro just a taste of Luffy's pain, and it gives us a horrifying visual. But, when he dives in to all of the pain and suffering, we don't see it. All we see is the aftermath where Sanji asks him after all of the blood spilled on the floor and his completely tattered look and blood shot eyes. He just says, "Nothing happened". This reminded me of Berserk, because we don't see anything of what happened during his pain, but only the aftermath, leading it only to the viewer's agonizing imagination of what he went through. This is the most abstract episode I have seen from One Piece in its shonen action glory, and I don't think I'll see anything like it ever again. |

| This episode is absolutely peak peak peak one piece. First the animation felt like it jumped up. Then both Zoro and Sanji loyalty to there friends and Luffy is just peak. I know Zoro gets the credit, but Sanji deserves some respect to. Especially how he went after zoro minute he found. I know they have a rivalry, but there is respect. Sanii even said Zoro instead of moss head. But Zoro. He is one of the most bad ass characters of all time. This is what a man looks like. Holy cow his willingness to sacrifice and the pain. Also to know Luffy is in that much pain. Plus god knows how much Zoro himself is in. Just mad respect for him. Legit one the coldest shots I ever seen. Top 5 episode of the show for me. |
