| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A pretty exciting episode, the opening theme is great for making action seem more exciting. The warp part was great, male crew members floating in the ship and the female crew member being stripped by the warp process. Never saw that on Star Trek :D |

| Again, a tense episode entirely relying on a single event (here, the test). Nothing against it, since it works so well. There is still plenty of time for diversification. Hum... this poor excuse to show a woman's underwears. Who came up with it?! XD Thanks to the fansub's ending notes, I was reassured that I'm not crazy. I found the fighters change between depart and landing weird but it seemed "normal" in the anime so I thought I was the weird one. 4/5 I guess this is the oldest Tomino thing I watched. (another protection suit inconsistency in this episode with Okita breathing on Mars) |
| For a moment I thought that Mars was terraformed or something but it's just an animation mistake. They called this FTL technology warp but for me it looks more like a mix of hyperdrive and jump drive. |
