The girls seem to be getting along their new life quite nicely.
The episode always gets sad when Hina asks about her Mom and Dad.

LMAO. I like the part when they moved into Yuuta's apartment. I wonder how is Yuuta going to handle all of this ? Anyway it was a good episode.

So that little 3 year-old can already read to be able to sing karaoke. He lives so far away, what is he going to do about school for the kids?

The apartment was really small. When she was asking about the porno mags, I didn't think she was faking it. I think I saw it on one of the end tables during that scene. Not very hidden.

Hmm, I don't know how big apartments are in Japan, but if the anime is showing a faithful representation then I'm surprised. It's gonna be tough with 4 people living in such a tiny space.

Although the space is an issue, the more pressing concern is the landlord. I doubt she's going to miss 3 kids making a ton of noise in Yuuta's apartment.

"This place is as big as our bathroom!"

Well, those last 10 minutes were kinda sad. They just try so much to stay strong for Hina, but her innocence only makes thing harder. She's too damn adorable, but words can hit harder than punch when given the context.

Nimura is pretty good bro, even if he lacked a bit of tact when they talked about her sister. At the same time, he couldn't have known, so it's not his fault if he talked in a jokinly manner.

As I thought, being 4 into such a small appartement is a massive problem x)
Miu was pretty clever with that curtain. It's funny how he only realized that all the girls were established when he saw all the toiletries. That's how you know if a girl is living at someone place :P

Well the girls are living in his apartment, he barely has space where they can sleep in, he'll need a decent high paying job to feed them, and then there's college. I wonder if the girls are going to go to another school since it would be time consuming for the girls to go to their current school. Then there's Hina who is too young to stay at home. I assume Yuri stayed at home to take care of Hina.

So far here, Hina is oblivious to what is going on, but at the end where Sora hugged her she did keep asking Sora what's wrong. Sora crying at the end was sad since she was holding her emotions until everyone went to sleep.

i'm already broke without 3 kids, so ugh.

tell me about it, i feel ya

nimura was pretty nice guy there imo... encouraging yuuta to talk it out while helping to take care of the kids

Please God do not spoil it to little Hina, she's too young and too adorable to handle all these

ps. the breast groping isn't fanservice, it's Hina's act of affection for her mom imo

Where's their life insurance. With the size of their house you know they'd have some money somewhere.

Still nice to watch. I really want to know how it ends.

This.

Assuming the father had life insurance on his mortgage, and his death has been confirmed as implied by the funeral, the loan should be repaid in full by the insurance company. The house belongs to the girls now, what/who is preventing them from staying there? Perhaps they would once (and if) the MC is officially recognized as their legal guardian? If he's serious about raising them himself, and the long commute is impractical, they could sell the house and purchase or rent a decent condo in western Tokyo.

Also where's their inheritance? Judging from the size of the house, it's pretty safe to assume that the father had a comfortable job and a fair amount of savings stashed or invested somewhere for his daughters.

Still many practical questions left unanswered. I hope they'll touch on some of these topics at some point, but I'm not holding my breath judging from the overall tone of the series so far.

The MC's appartement reminded me of mine back in college in Tokyo, with the dreaded "unit bath" i.e. toilet, sink and bathtub crammed into a single room. Made my skin crawl a bit. :')
