| Wow is right! I was expecting more messages in here but I guess I am wrong. This manga surprised me. It was a little slow at the beginning and got so good toward the end. And...Pipi... :'( |

| Uh. Huh? The ending was complete ass. This manga blows. Two terrible plot twists really really brought it down. Not like it was great to begin with. Damn. |
| OMG??? I definitely wasn't expecting that. I prefer to believe that the conclusions we've came to in chapter 15 were true (not that this chapter negates that), and that Kai was truly the manifestation of god's will and that he watches over the world along with Marie - or in her place (she says goodbye to him, so I don't know what to take from that). Are we supposed to believe that it was all Pipi's delusion? Like it was said in this chapter, strange things did happen around were Kai spirit supposedly was. I admire and pity Pipi, too. Very interesting world, and very unique story. "A peaceful world where nothing happens", is that preferable to pain and suffering (with freedom)? I don't know, perhaps not, but perhaps it's just that I'm too selfish. I honestly feel like I'm missing something. 8/10 or 9/10, I'm unsure. |

| This was a great manga and I really liked the way it ended although I feel sorry for pipi. The way this manga ended reminded me of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind manga. Both these manga had the same amazing worldbuilding and the characters (Kai and Nausicaa) had to both make very similar decisions. It was also quite surprising to see that Kai had died (I don't think he was dead I think he had just lost his body and was a manifestation of god's will). I was also very surprised when he chose to restart Marie because usually in manga the authors take the 'humanity must evolve even if they make mistakes' route. Overall it was a very interesting manga with great atmosphere and I am very glad I read it. If I had to rate it I would give it a rating between 9 to 9.5 out of 10. It is one of those hidden gems that I think more people should read. |
