| i had no idea sabaaku was yuri's dad until someone said it in an episode discussion so...... anyway i definitely cried like a child when my fabulous cobraja was defeated. i'm glad they get re-born or w/e though cause i loved the villains. it's just a shame cobraja's last fight was with sunshine. ew. |
| why such a small number of posts? This was one of the most action packed and well directed episodes yet! Cure Marine was so epic, and Cobraja and Kumojacky truly went out with a bang, like they deserved. This show is slowly shaping up to be one of my all time favorite mahou shoujo. |

| Fantastic episode, especially the fight scenes. I'm going to miss Cobraja and Kumojacky, but at least the went out on a high note. |
| I think this episode cleared any remaining doubt that Erika is best girl. I was nearly as startled as Kumojacky was when Marine broke his sword like that. Lots of good shots in their fight from start to finish; the trade of punches near the end was noteworthy too... Overall I thought her battle with Kumojacky was pretty great and (ironically) largely overshadowed Sunshine's battle with Kojabra. I'm a bit concerned about whether Moonlight can defeat the revived Dark Precure though, especially now that it's so obvious that Sabark is Yuri's father. It would be nice if Blossom could stop him before he gets to Moonlight, but I doubt that will happen. |

Of course it'll be quite a "reveal" for Moonlight when she finds out. ANd god damn the action in this episode is crazy awesome. I really like Marine trading blows with Kumojacky. |

| Yup, pure awesomeness. I find it funny that Sunshine is supposed to be "the beautiful one", when I think each one of the other three is much prettier. :P I only figured Sabaaku was Yuri's dad because of someone's comment all the way back then, too... I actually find enjoyment in not trying to think about stuff, and let it surprise me later on instead. But apparently it's part of the anime viewer etiquette to try to spoil as much as possible and prevent people from being pleasantly surprised or form their own opinions. I find that sad. |
| ah shit Sabaku is really the father of Cure Moonlight then and lol Cure Marine is awesome this episode she proved to Kumojacky that the strength to protect is better than strength for the sake of strength alone meanwhile Cure Sunshine being the tomboy that she is have proven that the struggle to survive is the most beautiful thing in the world and Cobraja realize that too late |

| One of my favorite tropes in shounen anime is when members of a team volunteer to stay behind and fight off enemies one at a time. It gives a chance for individual characters to show off their skills in one-on-one scenarios while contributing to the overall goal of getting the main character to their destination. I'm glad to see it in effect here, especially with, once again, another bump in combat art and animation. Next, the finale of Moonlight and Dark Precure. I'm absolutely certain that this fight is the main reason why Heartcatch Precure even exists, as it's been built up to ever since the first episode. |
| I was surprised and a bit disappointed that they had Cure Marine, Cure Sunshine, Kumojacky, and Cobraja split up into two 1v1s rather than fight one teamwork-focused 2v2. And that Cobraja chose to fight Sunshine instead of Marine, the girl who adores fashion and wants to be like her pro model sister, forcing Kumojacky pair up with Marine instead of Sunshine, who's been training herself at kicking ass and taking names her entire life. Maybe Cobraja intended it as a slight against Marine lmao. At least the animation was fucking awesome, especially Marine vs. Kumojacky. It's also a bit amusing how Heartcatch Precure has more unique insert songs than Fresh Precure, the show with an idol group and a dance competition subplot. Sunshine Impact too op, plz nerf I wonder if the writers will find some way to make Dark Precure and Yuri twins rather than just "sisters." |
