| Finally, a spirit that doesn't cause trouble or at least not on the surface. About time it bought good happiness into their school and community. Cute episode imo but seems no happines can last forever. It seems this episode wasn't trying to solve a problem but more like trying to maintain balance in their world. It wasn't an easy decision for Nube. |

| Kind of a happy episode, but too sad, tears flowed. |
| I know a bit about zashiki-warashi already thanks to “A Terrified Teacher in Ghoul School”, but this was a much more emotional take on it, tying the youkai back to a kid that died back in wartime that gave away her food to other kids really made this quite feelsy, I’m glad Nube and the kids were able to help out the little girl as well as her mom. Although I’m ngl, I did laugh a bit at the scene where Nube used “astral projection” on the mom lol, idk it’s just the wording and the way it was done that got me, but that didn’t take away from the sweetness of the scene. I also just think it’s cool that this situation involved a ghost that was just too nice, it wasn’t causing any terrible problems but it was still something that needed to be dealt with, since it is possible there can be too much of a good thing. |

| Didn't expect they combined both Zashiki Warashi's introduction and backstory chapters into one single episode, it's good to see they finally adapted the backstory chapter after all these years and give her VA (Since she don't have VA in the 1996 anime). holdingnothing said: The Akira episode last week was from chapter 101 *Chapter 118 Chapter 101 is about mind controlling robot + fanservice lol |

@TheColonel76 The "bad luck" that nearly killed Hiroshi may have been what I was worried was going to show up earlier, but the zashiki warashi being able to modify luck/probability directly makes sense too in its own way

| What an emotional episode, I wasn't expecting that. The zashiki-warashi was so cute <3 And her human self had such a pure soul, wishing for everyone else's happiness in her dying breathe. I liked how simple and quick the reunion was, that's all they needed for full closure >< |

| A zashiki-warashi that Nube happened to chance across, a stray yokai she may be one, but she ended up being a blessing to his students that the homeroom teacher begins to suspect that she is inviting happiness into their lives. Even Nube managed to score a date with Ritsuko, though he doesn't take the chance in order not to get too complacent with her powers, and chases her off as quick as she comes, while even saving the kids from a work accident which baffles Nube even more. As expected, the zashiki-warashi moving to Makoto's place to bless his family, until the yokai herself begins quite the chase after her, right to a granny's place having an altar for the girl aforementioned, Haruko, who's a kind soul to everyone back in her day. And it's time that the gang repay her back as the yokai brings happiness wherever she goes, though surprised to find a birthday setting that awaits her, even Nube bringing the granny's soul 80 years back for a short reunion. Beautiful episode, it brings tears of happiness, even. |
