| If this is actually the true mastermind behind the whole world petrification I would be quite disappointed, the big boss of the whole show living on such a small island with nothing but macho freaks is too damn boring... I guess I set the bar too high for this show. |

| the events in the second half of this episode were really quick and unexplained. we hardly understood who is that armaliya, and she already befriended senku tachi. never the less, i'm excited for this arc. but wait, didn't they said that the petrification beam source was overseas? something doesn't add up here. |

| Spoilers in the OP let me know they would be running into some new people on the Treasure Island. Sucks that the OP's give away such details but it's the nature of the beast. I was surprised to see that these people have a petrification beam considering his father landed on this island and there wasn't a hint of it in the 100 tales he just heard about. Soyuz having memories of what happened just as the group needs to know more about what's going on is just lazy writing in my opinion. Also, he was an infant when he washed ashore, he shouldn't have memories to recall but eh, it's not the worst thing this series has done. There's no tension here everything is going to fall into place and the Kingdom of Science will come out on top, it's just seeing how the author wants to go about doing it. |

| HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I completely forgot about the part when everyone on the ship is petrified, that shit caught me completely off guard! I mean it's been years since the manga ended... The Treasure Island turned out to be rather petrifying figuratively and literally! There's an entity capable of radiating a petrifying beam at a smaller scale at will, if that isn't terrifying, it's most definitely petrifying. They didn't even catch a break; they just docked themselves in a bay and waited until the storm passed. If Senku, Kohaku, Soyuz and Gen, as well as Suika, didn't go out the way they did, it's all over for the Science Kingdom exploration team. Senku's face upon hearing the news was cold, mf got aura even as his friends are petrified. Honestly if anyone were to get embraced by Kohaku, her breasts should act as cushion, so you would not get all your bones broken, statistically speaking lol. |
