| I'm half excited and half disappointed. What I thought would be an epic fight ended quickly through Gene practically cheating by stripping Suzuka. Wtf? D: Also, that moment when Suzuka split the truck in half - that was bloody awesome. |

| Fred was quite different from what I expected. y'know for being a top notch assassin ripping off a piece of clothing seems like a pretty easy way to defeat Suzuka. while she was definitely powerful she didn't give off the vide of being the amazing killer they say she is. regardless, i like how Gene resolved his problem (kind of) by convincing Suzuka that she had to kill him before she could kill Fred. |

| “nice to meet you, i am melfina” “oh yeah, whatever nice to meet you” lmao fred when greeting the gang. i found the twist of this episode to be hilarious. the overall tone of this show reminds me of samurai champloo, or cowboy bebop. it can get quite philosophical, yet at the same time it can be funny as hell. it isn’t an outlaw’s style to kill. |
| It was okay. The show feels like something from the 1980s to be honest even though it was from the late 90s. There are certain views that also spoiled the fun of the movie "Clue" they are dated and uncomfortable and NOT funny. |
| Better than the last one, but it didn't live up to the first four episodes. I find Fred to be... kind of a homophobic parody almost? Also Gene's fight ended with some weird ecchi stuff basically. At least it was kind of clever. |
| I kinda knew Fred was Gay. Especially the way he looks at Gene and James XD Not surprised how they were kinda "irked" him. This was the 90s, so of course gays were considered a bit of a taboo subject. Especially in Japan with the "I'm Not Gay" That was a great fight! I actually wanted Gene to cancel that contract and force a new contract with Suzuka. Hope to see more of her :) |
| How did Suzuka follow them or go ahead of them to the middle of nowhere where they ended their match? the scene before she was riding on top of someone else's vehicle and i don't believe they drove off all the way there... |
| Suzuka's intro was awesome before the OP! The music during the chase scene. Gene's a pretty great talker, convincing people of things. I like how he made the deal with Suzuka. |

| I did have a hunch that Fred was meant to be a camp character just the way he acted towards Melafina when she introduced herself, just so happy to see Gene and Jim but not so much for her. XD We are introduced to yet another character in the form of Suzuka, an assassin after Fred's life. Really liked the fight between her and Gene. I gotta say Gene just splitting Suzuka to end the fight was very clever on his part. Dishonour the warrior, hmm. The episode also establishes Suzuka as a badass fighter because come on you gotta admit her splitting a truck in half with just a wooden sword was pretty cool. I get the feeling with Suzuka around she's going to take the role of what Hilda started with, a tough but firm mentor of sorts. Maybe? Who knows she's a pretty cool character so far. Definitely a bit better than last episode but to be fair with that one it was pretty much a transitional episode I will say that the show seems to be picking up steam here. Not bad, not bad. |
