But man, i can't help but sighing a little by how the plot going through the expect match with them directly met with Chigiri and Kunigami team then just slay your own friends one by one till reach the finish line. O, so dark. Tho, this is how the second selection happens till the end of the day, i guess, special by Blue Lock story telling. So yeah, let's see the next match! |

| Barou is surprisingly very particular and disciplined about certain things. He's still really hard to get along with though. The fated match is finally here. Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo go up against Isagi's team. Bruh Reo is still salty af. Barou might be a beast but he still gets overwhelmed by multiple good players all targeting him at once. Him cooperating with Isagi and Nagi is the key to winning this match. |

| Barou is growing on me. This episode almost had me biting my nails again. It was so intense!! I miss Bachira. Reo is so obsessed and its weird. I hope they pick Chigari out of the 3 people. Also that play was amazing it had me like :O big off that all of them agreed to pick Nagi and not Isagi ...also the fanservice *side eye emoji* |

| I forgot just how naggy Reo is about Nagi (badum tsss). This guy is so obseesed over his rejection that he's willing to beat him and do the same thing of to his boyfriend, lmao. Isagi is trying his hardest for himself to be able to conjure a chemical reactions out of these 2 players who are so incomnparably stubborn. At least Nagi would be willing to pass the ball around, but not Barou. TEACH HIM, ISAGI. |

| Awesome episode, fanservice was pretty awesome, and Isagi encounters Kunigami, Chigiri, and Reo in the baths. Isagi accepts Reo's challenge to fight 3v3, and things are getting intense and wild. Barou really needs to cooperate with Isagi and Nagi Seishiro in order to win against Kunigami's team. Isagi also plans to further improve his adaptability and match his strength with his opponents. Barou sure is strict with keeping things organized and have self-discipline for himself, he is pretty much kind of a maid lol. I loved the bonus at the end with Barou's Maid Cafe, but his face could have been better, it kinda looks creepy. Still a funny bonus though. |

| this is a good and entertaining anime, but one issue I've consistently had with it, it seems like the way it's presented and the ideas certain characters express are pretty disrespectful to Japanese football. I love Japanese football, and the national team seems to improve every year, they haven't won the world cup ofc or got to quarters (only a matter of time for that one really) but so haven't a bunch of countries, tbh the expectation that they should win seems like misplaced egoism. They should (and a lot do) have immense pride in how far they've come and well their national team plays. For the last 3 or so world cups, Japan's produced some of the most exciting matches. The level of their domestic leagues improving rapidly too, and more and more Japanese stars are shining in top leagues around the world (Mitoma, Kamada, Kyogo etc.). More stars from their youth are bound to star in the future too. I do think as a country they should be making efforts to improve and get further (I think maybe they should aim for the semis atm) I mean ofc always "aim to win", but be realistic, nurture the growing sport rather than seeing not winning as a failure. Keep performing and getting better and eventually the team will be competing in Semis and Finals, and that's when they have a decent shot and can aspire to actually lift the trophy. Idunno what the creator actually thinks, ofc it's not actually him expressing these views, it's his characters. But it's still his creation and it makes me think that to of thought that up in the first place, maybe on some level he also believes it. But his opinions on Japanese football aside, he's done his job of making an entertaining series anyway. |

| Barou unexpectedly has good habits and discipline, except of course his speech. Dude has to keep cussing. Whoa there, Nagi saying he can watch a drama in 40 mins and Isagi saying he can watch 2 episodes of anime. This is so us 😅. Isagi, Nagi and Barou vs Kunigami, Chigiri and Reo. |
