I understand that people think CSM's pacing is rapid since the manga's popularity really started growing when the International Assassins arc (which ran at breakneck pacing) was serialising, which is why they want cour 1 to end with the Reze teaser (added to the fact that she's extremely popular within the fanbase). However, we shouldn't brush off the dialogue-heavy scenes so easily. I've just recently reread the Katana Man arc, and there's quite a good amount of dialogue-heavy scenes like the hospital scene or when Makima meets with the mafia. |

As much as I’d like to see a Reze cliffhanger (her reveal arc had some of my favorite scenes in Part 1), I feel like they’d have to rush it to get there in time for a good cliffhanger, at the pace they’re going.
