| Season 1 easily. The amount of epic well directed scenes there is baffling. |

| For me it was S3 P2. The reason being is that the music made the best sound and the animation made the best look. But in all seriousness, that was actually part of the reasoning, but the main reason is that it was the only season so far where I had to watch every single episode twice, just to comprehend what I saw. Especially when the basement was finally revealed, I watched the final 4 episodes all like 3 times the day they came out, only so I could understand what the hell was going on. That is was the best payoff I've ever see, 2 1/2 seasons and 6 years of waiting all led up to this damn basement, and every single second of waiting was worth twice the amount! In my opinion, S4 P2 had the most jaw dropping story of all AoT seasons, that combined with the amazing animation and soundtrack that studio Wit delivered was just the tip of the iceberg. |
| Same order as OP. The curiousness for the basement reveal and WIT's high production value was probably the major force in S3P2 becoming the peak. |

| s3pt2 what a hell of a season that was commander Erwin when out with a bang, Armin became a Titan and Eren woke up. One of my favorite animes I could not stop watching it. |

| Season 2, not only because of Reiner and Bertolt reveal which is best, Ymir reveal was awesome as well. First time seeing Beast Titan, you know he'd be a dangerous threat, Beast Titan was savage, walking around and being taller than the rest. The Beast Titan bending down talking with the face up close was horrifying all while that scout was on the ground and he squashed the other Titian for disobeying. When he climbed those walls, oh shit this Titan could breach the wall and has those powerful long arms to throw rocks. |
