Yea I've seen bits and pieces here and there and I've read the manga as well so I'm excited. So sad to see my favourite show of all time finally come to an end
Humankind's greatest achievement - anime. Something tells me you're not joking either. It's good to see that level of dedication and enthusiasm though. They should give special MAL badges/awards for that type of ideology :)
Maybe I didn't make myself completely clear regarding Bocchi. I did like it but I didn't go absolutely gaga over it, like some. I don't think it's the greatest wonder anime has to offer the world but it was watchable and kinda cute/sweet. I liked the character designs which reminded me of Girls' Last Tour. I gave it an 8/10 and I stand by that. I'm hoping it gets an English dub because I want to rewatch it again through the alternate lens/perspective of English language dubs. What is your stance regarding dubs? I can't remember if we've ever talked about it before.
That was just me making a joke about some of the novelties that Beastars has to offer. Aside from that, there is depth and a lot of artistic merit to it. I would highly recommend it to all anime enthusiasts, but as you said, I'm aware that everyone has their own criteria of what's good in writing and visuals so I wouldn't be too pushy about it. Everyone will just do want they feel a compulsion to do in the end. I see you're watching KonoSuba at the moment. What compelled you to try that franchise? Other than your own perversions/sleazy intentions.
3-gatsu no Lion is not super emotional in a sad/upsetting/make you cry kinda way (like Grave of the Fireflies) but there are many heartwarming and cute/sweet and kind/affectionate scenes. It's sort of like a happy uplifting kind of emotionalism.
In This Corner of The World is a long movie - over 2 and half hours, and is quite a slow burning subtle/gentle drama but it's set in a certain historical era and deals with something factual, so it feels as if you're learning something from the experience.
SAO is thought provoking regarding future technology and virtual reality with things like The Nerve Gear/full-dive VR system and Augmented Reality (like in Ordinal Scale), and Project Alicization with 'fluctlights' and human consciousness, and developing bottom-up (from birth, and through childhood and schooling) independently thinking autonomous AI, which is something to stimulate ones imagination/give some food for thought. I prefer things like SAO, that have the possibility or potential to become reality in the future (after scientific or technological advances) - to something that's an outlandish/far-fetched pure fantasy, like being reborn into Reincarnated as a Slime or Re:Zero's isekai world.
How are you getting on/have you got on with Link Click season 2? I get the impression it's been very positively received by the fans and a 3rd season has been confirmed. Along with Mo Dao Zu She and Scissor Seven, it's surely the highest profile and most respected Chinese animation series.
I'm glad you had a positive experience with Oshi. Could it be one of those rare times someone has followed my advice/recommendation I wonder? Yeah, the jokes hit the mark with me as well and I enjoyed the putting the idol group together (the new version of B Komachi) and their rehearsals and live performance, even though I don't have any experience with the pop idol genre, and wouldn't have thought I'd have liked something featuring that style of music and performance before watching. I thought the designs, HD visuals, and backgrounds were super-duper amazing - as well as the drama and voice acting/dialogue. It's in my top 10 for good reason!
As for the Type-Moon Fate watch order - start with Fate:Zero season 1 and 2 first, and when you complete that get back to me. And then, if you want to continue further I'll give you instructions for the next one/your next mission ;)
Ritsu was cute and memorable as the AI classmate though.
Don't feel like you have to rush. Only reply when you feel at your best, have sufficient time, and are happy/in the mood to share your thoughts.
I hope you don't end up regretting the time spent on Oshi no Ko. I know you weren't keen on Bocchi, but this seems to me at least, a few steps up in all departments. I'm optimistic you'll get something out of the experience!
It's nice to see a full gallery of Assassination Classroom characters! Shame there's no space for Kayano though. The episode she made a giant crème caramel pudding for Koro-sensei was one of the series highlights for me. And not just because I wanted the pudding myself :)

Ah, a Steins;Gate rewatch. It's a certifiable anime classic, all right ;)
I hope you enjoy that custom-maid superhero cake you were begging your parents to get for your special day ;)
