| 17 years of anime watching gets your list a little bigger than normal. However, I'm surprised I don't have that much over 1000 animes in my list. Sure some movies and OVAs but still. Could have watched up to 2-3k if I'd done it right. |

| Been watching anime for more than a decade now, done it pretty hardcore during the last 5 years as well, very close to hitting 365 days watched here on MAL. I guess I do have a lot of free time, I'm not unemployed or anything, but due to the nature of my job I find time to watch anime at my workplace. On top of my 950 TV anime entries completed, I have also competed: 701 OVAs 622 movies 582 Specials 411 ONAs and 184 music videos listed on MAL. |

| I have been watching anime for over 20 years now, so needless to say I have watched quite a bit by now. Over 1000, counting my rewatched series and not counting specials, ovas etc. |

| Several years to get where I am now. I used to be able to marathon whole seasons over weekends, but nowadays I just watch an episode or two after work on weekdays, and maybe 4 on a weekend if I'm up for it. Still adds up fairly quickly though |

| How many people have a lot of series watched is a widely regarded question and the main answer to that is caffeine, coc-ine, Adderall and/or sleep deprivation. Realistically, there are people that watch anime religiously 8+ hrs a day and have been doing it since 2000s or earlier. |
