| Can't you guys just stop making threads about Yaoi bait/BL bait and just enjoy the show?? There have been at least four threads about this already. there are thousands of great topics to discuss instead of fussing about whether this is Yaoi or not. cause it's start get annoying now. |

| What really sucks is that the people who made threads about Yaoi bait misled a lot of people and could make them drop the anime. I'll make fun with them and create a similar thread when Jeanne appears in the anime. |

Yup. Lgbt logic:Everyone should like us.If someone doesn't then they're homophobic This logic they are using as of today are making people hate them even more without them even realizing.They seriously have 0 self awareness.I got called out for being homophobic just because I said I don't like that content which doesn't make sense at all. |

Frankly, I don't want to blame the lgbt community or the shipping community on this issue. They are not the ones asking whether this is BL, calling it yaoi bait, or dropping shows at the slightest hint of flamboyancy. These people derive their skepticism towards VnC from an overreaction towards BL shippers, and while enthusiastic BL shippers certainly contributed to this overreaction, trying to find fault in the back-and-forth activism and reactivism would bring us back to gender discrimination in the middle ages. I contend that people are free to ship whomever they like, however ridiculously nonsensical and non-canon those shippings are. BL fandom are not the only ones who concoct non-canon pairings (Historia x Eren, anyone? How about Hermione x Harry?), and I venture to say that the thirst for romance in entertainment is universal, and it easily becomes morbid in every populous fandom. I myself am frequently guilty of clamouring for romance in any series where a girl and boy share remotely intimate relationships, and I certainly do not want to deprive the LGBT+ community of their right to do the same. Likewise, I genuinely do not believe the toxic shippers @agi_akuma mentioned apply to VnC- at least not prevalent enough to taint the larger community-, for the principle reason that VnC's manga has made its heterosexual romance official and perfectly clear to its audience, whereas BnHA hasn't done much to develop its romance. Any shipping of Noe and Vanitas amounts to fan fiction, and practically all of the BL shippers I've come across in the VnC community recognize that their shipping is not official. Many of them might be in denial, but I have not seen instances where they actively push their own shipping as canon. On the other hand, if your coping mechanism against overzealous yaoi shippers is to outright cancel any show that you suspect is BL without base, in its first episode no less, then that's your problem not somebody else's fault. |

They come here and ask us WHY this or that anime is like that we don't like! we have NO duty to answer them. | I'm straight but I honestly couldn't care if it's BL. I love vampire stories and I love the character designs, so I'd continue watching either way. What I find stupid is people labelling the show a BL just because two attractive males are friends. Even if its BL, what's the problem? Lmao. It's childish to not watch a show solely because there are gay people in it. Anyways just ignore it OP. If people don't watch it for that, let them do what they want to do. They're the ones missing out. |
