| Major 2nd is back, and with a fucking bang at that! Absolutely loved this episode! I love how Daigo's character was in this episode. Really observant, composed and smart with his advice, and the rest of the Furin team played really well too in that episode. The chemistry they've shown so far has been pretty top notch. And nice seeing Mutsuko being able to pitch well too in this episode. Struggled at first but the smallest things can throw off a pitcher's performance and luckily Daigo was able to help her out with slightly lowering the mound for her before it was too late. Great job from the captain himself. The visuals were great in this episode, especially when they were training before the match and especially when they were running onto bases. It looked surprisingly slick and well animated compared to a lot of baseball anime I have seen so the effort from the staff is clearly there. It was a terrific episode overall, and man I'm so jubilant that this show and franchise is back. I'm not sure it'll be finishing this season with no further delays (infact I'm expecting one after like a month or two), but regardless, getting any more Major 2nd is what I will take, and this episode surpassed every single seasonal I've been watching for a month without it airing. Amazing. |

| Alright. I’ve fully caught up. Major 2nd to me right now is a notable improvement over the entire OG series. The setup isn’t exactly amazing but it’s something I found more interesting and engaging. Instead of the Mc needing to become Superman, here he functions more as a team player, imo, which I think helps the other characters’ progression more genuine in nature. I’m not saying it always works out like that, but the direction is effective enough here. I still have a load of nitpicks and nagging issues here and there, but that’s a bit more on the personal side. As for this episode, it’s great to see the girls getting more highlights. Something like this should be tried out more often in sports series like this. |

| Ughhh... ok while I am all for girls dominating and taking interest in baseball your telling me these girls are hitting 340 bombs as middle school? Man no girl is doing that and barely any boys are doing that in middle school even in America where kids are stronger. I guess I just shouldn’t expect realism from Major anymore. |

| Damn even though Anita and Daigo were all the way in the back, they still got spotted. The match itself wasn't that exciting but man is it fun seeing the team play really well. I still can't get over the fact that Chisato is Fuji's daughter, must be Nakamura's genes. |
