Duel Monsters will always be my favorite. As for character, it's a toss up between Yusei and Seto Kaiba. They're both great.

My favourite character has to be Pot of Greed. I've never come across a character with so much depth and complexity that people still can't grasp to this day.

I only watched Croatian dub of english version of second series (Duel Monsters) in early 2000s, up to the middle of that Marik arc / Battle City arc - I loved most of characters, except for Seto Kaiba who was insanely irritating.

Marik's sister Ishizu was really good looking.

Years later, I decided to watch the original series, and very quickly found it much, much better, especially because of Megumi Ogata's performance - she is original voice actress for Yugi, and Yami Yugi.

Ogata's acting was marvelous, I don't remember how she sounded as normal Yugi, but I will never forget her acting as Yami - she sounded so mysterious, dark, but still not evil, it was just wonderful seiyu performance.

After I finished original series, I immediately started to watch the second one, this time with Japanese audio, but once I realized new actor (Shunsuke Kazama) in Yugi, and he sounded so normal, and bland in comparison to Ogata, I just had to drop it.

I do wish to one day watch everything Yu Gi Oh!, and these days I'm not so sensitive about seiyu changes, so, we'll see...

I'll go with Kaiba. I quite liked his character arc throughout the series.

I have to say 5d's since most people are DM fans.

But how i rate my series:

1. 5D'S
2. VRAINS
3. ZEXAL
4. DM
5 n 6 are ARC-V and GX (both are 100% terible and it's damn true)

Favorite character from each series:

DM: Atem, Seto Kaiba, Noa, Dartz

Gx: Hell Kaiser and Kenzen Tyrrano

5d's: Jack Atlas, Yusei Fudo, Leo, Luna, Crow Hogan Aporia, Z-One, Rex Goodwing, Kiryu, Carly, Placido, Bruno, Misty

Zexal: Vector, Dark Mist 96, Iv, Yuma Tsukumo, Kaito, Rio, Mizael

Arc-V: Yuya Sakaki, Yuri, Zarc, Reiji Akaba, Reo Akaba, Roget, Jack Atlas (biassed because chillhood) and the Tyler Twins

Vrains: Revolver, Soulburner, Blue Maiden, Akira, Bowman, Flame, Ai, Queen, Blood Shepherd

Never even watched the show but there is a guy on youtube who uplodes english dub videos of mostly old anime like yugioh, The Tyler sisters are my favorite.

arc v because of its tone and concepts. close second with zexal since it was the first one i finished as well as the hunt for the cards and cool villains.
favourite character z-arc purely for the concept and character or kite tenjo in zexal because he acted as a fun antihero with interesting motivation

5Ds main cast was near perfect except Crow. It couldn't have been better than that. I loved Yusei, Jack, Aki and the twins a lot. I also consider it the best YGO series.

Female MC: Aki
Others: Carly, Sherry
Villain: Pegasus... there are better ones but I just love this flamboyant and fabulous guy

would be really hard to say. i haven't finished all series yet.

but i know for a fact one character the likes of which will never be seen again, the U.S. Duel Monsters Champ, is among my favourites. straight up every line uttered by Bandit Keith is pure gold.

Atleast I keep watching over those major overrated show people keep talking about. Yu-GI-OH DM and GX never had taste for me, but 5d's, Zexal and VRAINS did alteast got me to like.

i was already waiting for a new series, LONG AGO already. If Ygo continues to make new series every 3 years from now. Duel Monsters will eventually have more shows to rival.

Duel Monsters: Joey Wheeler

He was the only character in that I really liked. The rest were likable...but not as much as him. Plus, he's like an underdog character and I love rooting for them. Also, he's a good best friend.

GX: Jaden Yuki, Alexis Rhodes, Jesse Anderson

This was the series that stuck out the most for me. Instead of just liking the characters a little, I actually fell in love with them and grew attached to them. I love good guys like Jaden, tough but cool girls like Alexis, and Jesse...well, he's similar to Jaden before season 4. I also love the relationship they had.

5D's: Akiza Izinski

I didn't really watch this one. When I first found out about it, I was like "Dueling on motorcycles? Uh, no." So, I avoided it. But I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links a few months ago and I really started to like Akiza. Her character design is really appealing and her signature monster (Black Rose Dragon) is absolutely beautiful.

I didn't really watch any of the other Yu-Gi-Oh series and I don't plan to. I tried out Arc V but it was meh.
