Ah, more trouble again and this week, they had to deal with more malevolent entites. As usual, Neko makes a solid impression with her abilities. |

| The girl's father was totally in the wrong here. He sold his daughter for money, and then when he had to keep his part of the bargain he dragged Kitarou into this, hoping that he would keep both the money, and his daughter. I'm glad Kitarou didn't interfere with the girl, and her future husband, the one she even loved as well, so there is really no harm here, but since things couldn't go this smoothly, we had western interference because of the ring, but Sunakake-Babaa was really cool paralyzing Adele though! |

| Wow, they made it so she literally could not say no. And it's not just because of the contract (between two adults when she was a child btw), but because the effects of it being put into practice set her up to always need protection, thus her falling in love. The fact that she did fall in 'love' in that moment of rescue is the only thing preventing the episode from being unjustifiable. But her rescue would not be necessary if her luck wasn't fucked with. They got her on multiple levels. I hate having to say it, but this is pretty gross. |

| the yokai literally pre-ordered a bride 10 years in advance that's so nasty... honestly this episode was gross overall and not in a spooky fun way. the fact that the writers tried to make it romantic in the end is also disturbing seeing as this is a show for children. what kind of moral even is that? it's ok to start pursuing someone as a romantic partner when they're still in kindergarten? it's ok to trade your daughter for wealth as long as things work out in the end?? |
