THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Damn, this episode got intense and even quite emotional.

Even supernatual entities can have feelings when you least expect it.

Every now and then, this show, even with the episodic monster-of-the-day format, can bring such emotionally fantastic episodes like this one. Remember episode 6? That was the last time I’ve seen such a sad episode from this series overall.

I mean, this episode is practically Japan’s version of “The Brave Little Toaster”.

This was basically the plot of Toy Story 3.

I can't believe I found myself agreeing with Nezumi-Otoko for two episodes in a row. But this time he was, once again, trying to take advantage of others just for the sake of being despicable so it doesn't count. lol

But this was a really emotional episode, I found myself tearing up with it, but it was just what I expected from an episode featuring Tsukumogami. It was poignant, but also beautiful. I hope this message will stay with as many viewers as possible, and that they will start being even more careful with their belongings.

The last time I felt this emotional was when the Straw Hat Pirates had to burn the Going Merry.

Maybe this is the reason why I feel the need to keep so many things.
