| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, when it comes to money's worth, this series sure has its intentions clear about the players especially Seiya. It seems some players also really enjoy spending their leisure time given how rich they are. Felt like a really slow episode this week tbh. I hope pacing picks up more especially since some of these players are super talented. Natsunoke's mind games were a highlight of the episode. |

| Party with girls is also part of the pro life. Good for Bonda that he refused the drinks,otherwise he wouldn't have been able to throw that inside pitch. First episode where I actually was really bored. |

| Half way through this first season now, and now I can confidently say I’m pretty into this lol. I’m learning a lot about baseball like terms I never knew and the flow of games, and a lot of other details too thanks to Bonda’s fixation on salaries, which is why it kinda occurred to me that this is a baseball SoL lol. I mean it really is, it’s focused on the life and profession of a pro baseball player and it’s been very informative so far with some fun but realistic characters, seems very SoL to me which wins it some points. The CGI is still bad but I’m pretty used to it now lol. This episode was good too, near the end was one of the first big edge of your seat moments with Bonda trying to strikeout someone that earns 10x his pay, I was really sucked in and fully expected Bonda to get beat but he actually pulled through, might be looking at a pay raise soon. And I also want to mention I’m really surprised the waifu that’s plastered on the OP and ED hasn’t appeared yet, not that it’s upsetting me much because I am into the show now but it’s just surprising that she hasn’t appeared half way through the first season lol, my guess is that she’ll appear near the end of this season and then be a reoccurring character in Season 2, also I’m predicting she’ll be a fan of Bonda’s kinda like the mangaka from last episode. All that being said I look forward to the rest of this! And that OP and ED are still absolutely bangin lol. |
