| Ozen is a girl! She's so cool... next episode is mysterious lol |
| Pretty bored by the episode as a whole as 20 minutes felt like 2 hours when watching it since not much really happened until the end. The interactions while not bad, weren't good enough to keep me that invested until the tense Ozen confrontation at the end with Riko and Reg, and the cliffhanger. Made in Abyss has really great looking world building in the anime and solid production, but I feel like the whole show's being carried a bit too strongly by the world building, since the actual cast in general is surprisingly weak and paperthin in depth and interest except Ozen so far, and the story itself outside the exploration and adventure isn't particularly captivating either. The start was really good but the past few episodes haven't been too particularly brilliant, although again, don't mind the concept of slow buildup as long as the payoff is worth it (and it damn better be since the cast has not been helping matters too much for me). |

| Don't know but whenever I happen to see these kind of traps, that one liner of Okabe's the first thing that comes to my mind lol. Anyways good to see someone like Ozen being in this series, really love those mysterious antagonistic ones. |

| Riko giving this shady woman, Ozen, her mother's whistle is a real gamble, even if Ozen assures her she's only keeping it on a temporary basis. Might result in Reg having to fight her for it or something. Ozen has a bunch of headless zombie torsos crawling around the Seeker Camp as well, for whatever reason. I'm sure there's more to them than just being experimental subjects. |
