| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, the action is so silly in this show. Oobu continuously tries to show off her presence. A nice little overview of the show's characters at the end though at what they've been doing up to this point. But really, the comedy tries far too hard imo. I hope it improves. |

| so the almighty Reiken faction picked a bumbling fatass a hermaphroditic little backstabber and an arrogant ass as their disciples. I'm appalled at the lack of common sense. I'm trying really hard to like this, but this is getting ridiculously stupid. It's one thing to have cringeworthy humor, but if the running gag gets to the point that it's messing with the story (aka the old fart refuses to wear glasses, and somehow mistook the backstabbing little squirt as the one who stayed in the VIP room over the MC) then that's where the line gets drawn. Just plain annoying when the entire cast had been riding off the back of MC for the entire exam, and it's obvious to anyone that he's the only person capable of anything, but gets reduced to "a rarest of souls... with only collector value". The whole setting is backwards as fuck. |

I really thought the chosen ones for sure would be the fat guy (because of the OP) and the MC along with his other loyal friend. And it was disappointing to watch the real selection and to realize why the MC was left out. It was like if they were scratching the bottom of the barrel to pick the worse people on purpose and if that faction is supposed to be some sort of Guardians keeping the country safe, these decisions might have negative repercusions for their future. I'd have liked to watch the MC taking revenge against these guys though, perhaps would be more interesting to watch him and his forces assault the place. |

As for MC servant, fatso, and asswipe they where accepted as inner disciple but i think is assigned to an elder which i think is a little bit higher than and ordinary inner disciple not sure though because they have atleast an above average talent/potential and if i'm not mistaken their talent rank asswipe > servant=fatso And if your wondering how significant it is for the MC to be a true disciple a simple breakdown of clan positions Patriarch Elder (every elder if i'm not mistaken can have 2 or 5? true disciple which would be considered as there potential successor) True Disciple (granted lots of leeway in the clan especially if their master is strong or is high ranked can pretty much do anything they want) Inner Disciple Outer Disciple you can pretty much determine there position from the colored stripe of their robes red = true disciple brown i think for inner disciple assigned to an elder or just inner disciple as for the blue not sure if its outer disciple or ordinary inner disciple Man i love you =) I am trying to find the novel to understand but i can't find, thanks, now i can understand the story a little. If this show have in another studio will be better, its a good history but bad executed... |

Doesn't help that the art and subs suck (sorry subbers, i still appreciate your effort) Oriku should have requested they reselect or at least kick out Ochuu (petty i know, but serves him damn right, the little bitch) But more importantly it bothers me how these kids are supposed to be under 13 and yet these elders are checking them out and there's all these innuendos. |

| When you and your former scumbag slave name start with "O" and the announcer gives you an suspenseful moment where everyone thought you'd be picked, but it was your former scumbag slave, so now, as the MC, you're mindfucked at the results. Too much Ou. Darn. I liked Kal. Wished he was picked. Hopefully, we'll see him again. My waifu, Rei, returns in all her glory. Hope Oriku ends up with her. A couple of fine looking females appear. |

| Oh, this episode is already starting with the theme song. Danggg. Oriku defeats the huge elephant thing, his weapon is broken, and the world gets back to a sunny atmosphere. Obu appears and is saddened that the sword is broken. Then goes around and tries to steal some money. Girl has lost herself. There are so many contestants left now. DANG. FIFTEEN. Whelp. Thanks to Oriku and his overpowered sword. I wonder how much these people get paid. The girls in here seem to be shameless. HAHAHA. I really like the character designs, though. They are all pretty nice looking. All fifteen contestants are in this hall and they're only going to be choosing three. I'm guessing that the three will be Kai, Oriku, and Shushin. HAHAHA. I really like Rei, man. BOOM. SHUSHIN. OH. Bunho got the second pick. WHAT> THIRD IS OCHU. wtf. I only had one of those correct. OF COURSE, the anime is going to go and be like, PSYCH. HAHAHA. Kai and Oriku are told why they didn't get picked and, at first, Oriku is quick to show up a certain Taikon technique but then is told that he can join them as their lucky charm and he immediately falls into it. Then we see why Ochu was chosen. HAHA. The chief totally thought that Ochu was the one who stayed at the VIP room. Well, he did sort of but it was really Oriku. That coin that Oriku possess gives him any wish but all of his wishes are shot down by the chief. HAHA. Hmm. I wonder what's going to happen now. Kai went to Manpo sect to get a job, Oriku is alone, and the three chosen guys are now in the inner sect. AT LEAST OCHU CAN BE WITH THAT DARN SHUSHIN. MAN. It already feels like this anime is ending for some reason. The only thing now is that Oriku could possibly be taken in by Obu because she's the only one left with,really, no responsibilities. |
| Pretty bad for the action. Is he using cheat? lol one hit. The mechanism just like in game. Got a drop, fight boss and win. Comedy in this episode not bad, as always Ouriku do nothing. He did for all the contestant but lol that coin save him and this is the reason he keep the coin. |
