| Goodbye Sho-chan :( Though I was already spoiled by that fact, I'm still hoping until the end that I was just trolled and he didn't really die. I think this is the first major death in Gintama if I'm not mistaken. I will surely miss this line: SHOGUN KAAAYOOO!! We'll never hear it the same way again :( |

| Man what an arc. The shogun was one of my favorite characters. Every time he was involved in the odd jobs antics, I would laugh so hard I have tears. Sucks that he would be the guy to die and none of the villains. Farewell Buddy. |

| Is the Shogun alive or is he not? A question that will never be answered. A hidden question left behind in the world of Gintama. Anyway, this was once again, an incredible episode. The One Piece reference from Kamui trying to become the King of The Pirates, Shinsuke still in coma and Gin and the rest healing up. Shogun dissing Soyo's tea made me laugh but what a cliffhanger.. A new arc begins right after one of the most important arcs ever.. Gintama is ROLLING! |

| I watched this arc in one sitting (besides for a food break) and I don't regret it. 10/10. Gave great action, worldbuilding, backstory, and plot. RIP Shigeshige though, he was a really great person and it was unfortunate that he actually died. Gave some of the best comedy episodes T_T |

| I wonder if Shinsuke is still an enemy at this point. So, the end goal now is to destroy the current puppet shogunate under the control of Tendoshu. Damn, a major supporting character did die. RIP Shigeshige. Soyo is gonna be gone for a long time, probably until the final clash against Tendoshu in the final season, I guess. I think she'll assume control of her brother's faction. That scene in the end, I wanna sleep in Soyo's lap peacefully like that as well. I can't wait to see her grown up someday. |

| Great that the jump saved Gintoki but damn that end.... NOOOOO that was really heartbreaking Shige-Shige was so great, all of his episodes were the most hilarious ones and he was so epic during this arc he was seriously an underrated character so it's even sadder that he died now.. RIP |

| What everyone sworn to protect got its life taken away regardles, I'm gonna miss Shogun sama for sure The humor seems to be back, better now than later I guess, but most of all its the conclusion that made this episode so great. The storytelling and character involvement in this arc were truly top tier in their own respective terms, Takasugi and Kamui worked very greatly as the villains and the flashbacks were really standing out for their emotional side. Thank you Gintama for delivering such unforgettable expierence And this finaly concludes one of the greatest arcs of any anime in general, I think peak of Gintama has been witnessed, gotta enjoy the ride that has been left |
| RIP shogun sama man. that ending hit especially when that banger of an ED came in. i absolutely loved this arc. defo lived up to the hype, felt like a movie at times. top 3 arcs of all time for me. easy 10/10. christmas is actually in a few days but after consuming this amazing arc, feels like christmas came early for me. |

| NOOOO Shigeshigeee. After everything that happened, why did you have to die like that, it was so close. What happened at the end, was that one of his doubles? because that scene happened after he died. I was getting ready to breathe a sigh of relief but then the unexpected happened. I really wonder if him saying "farewell" was because he knew what's going to happen. The whole scene and his dying "message" was done very well, I'll miss him :( I guess I can't say it's a happy ending now. Overall amazing arc just as expected, my favorite so far but that's mostly thanks to those 2 episodes. And to think that the next episode is the start of another just as amazing arc. I absolutely love it, but I don't think I'm ready. |
