| Which do you prefer, the anime or the manga? I liked both, but I think the manga does certain things better, though the anime did add a few things like Take's death and them finding the soldier from the downed jet that crashed in the town, and there was a few differences. Also, the anime didn't really show us much of what Chise looked like while the manga did a few times. And them fuckalicious happened.... what? |

| I liked both, but a little more the manga as well indeed, for the same kind of reasons. It's a sad but beautiful story. Although, there's good reasons to enjoy the anime as well. Some tracks like that final ones with the electirc guitar are gorgeous, and CHise's seiyuu is voiced by my favourite seiyuu too (orikasa fumiko). who do a real good job at it, like usual, as expected. So yeah, I really enjoyed both. I actually rated the manga 10/10 and it's in my favorite since the favorite list was extended from 5 to 10 manga as well. |

| i hated it, the character designs just look bad, the male MC looked like hes in his 50's and the female MC looks like she's 12, the animation is basic and didn't help the already bland character designs, the story is was a repetitive jumbled mess, the invading enemy force " they never bother to say were their from" or give a reason for the invasion, the government decide to make the female MC into a weapon despite the fact she was sickly, the male MC is an unlikable bleep on the level of makoto from school days yet even worse because your actually suppose to like him.the romance between the MC's is garbage, also the ending is just awful. apparently the last love song on this little planet is a funeral dirge. |
