Now THAT is a great fight! And Jin is an opponent with an awesome power. My favorite so far as well, great moves and the fight went just really smooth.

Geez, Kamehame-ha much?

The fight is pretty good and Hiei is being Vegeta a badass, as always. 4/5

I think Hiei is a much better character than Vegeta, Because he can actually back up his words.

Ehh, this fight is okay at best. Definitely not as good as Kurama's fights. Too many cliche's and dialogue breaks and not enough prolonged action. Jin is a really likable character though. I hope he isn't only in it for this fight or something, and comes back later

I cannot wish for this arc to be over sooner.

All of these fights have been completely meaningless.

Jin was a nice change of pace. I am enjoying his character, this fight, and most of all his ridiculous accent (Well, most of all besides Koto of course).

I wasn't completely sold on any of the big fights until this one. Feels more thought out than your usual Yuu Yuu Hakusho havoc. I like that at the start of the show, Yusuke gets lucky and fights like a dumbass, constantly coming close to losing his life, but over time he thinks about it more, while still keeping his gambler sensibilities about him. He is now smart enough to know the best strategy, but still fierce enough to know that he has to put down to chance when no better options present themselves. The fight direction and some animation chops really aid in making the fight feel more fluid than fights in the past.

Only complaint is that Jin started the fight talking shit about Bakken's dirty tactics, while employing similar tactics like floating to safety whenever the fight isn't going his way. Otherwise, I don't mind him as a character. Kinda liked Chu more as a companionship forged through battle with Yusuke.

Jin is pretty cool, though I felt bad when he wasted all those random audience members. Yusuke is gonna use that Goku move it looks like.

I'm loving with the Jin/Yusuke fight right now. But I'm more concerned with Hiei and the masked contestant ( whom BTW I think it's still Genkai/Genkai's grandaughter) in that barrier, but Hiei's power is coming back though.

Well, seems like the battle between the two is heating up. Hiei is back in shape, that's really good, now the odds of winning are rather high.

Looks like we are gonna see a really cool attack next episode, but I still want to see Hiei fight! He will probably go against the final member of that Team

I am a little disappointed with the series so far, as at Episode 40 it still doesn't feel like it has properly got going yet.

That said, I am still enjoying it on the whole even though it's not as good as I expected it would be.

So many filler scenes in the last few episodes. Every development in the fight is followed up by anime-exclusive reactions from the crowd (Kurama, Keiko, Sakyo, Koenma, Botan, random Yokai) that drag the pacing down severely.

This was shaping up to be an extremely good show but I’m worried now. Does it pick up the pace again?

@Switch_Z I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I myself have complained about bad anime. Though watching 40 episodes (each of them 30 minutes) of something you dislike is definitely a choice...

Lol! I love how despite the myriad of audiences annihilated, nobody seems to give a damn about the catastrophe.

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!
