11eyes is basically the 2009 version of 2008's Chaos;head.
Each anime was based off a game. Both center around a male character who is surrounded by multiple girls who show up either near the beginning or middle of the series that have something to do with the general plot. Most of these girls can seem extremely innocent, but they're really someone totally different
Both males (Kakeru 11eyes, Takumi Chaos;head) already have a girl who is extremely close to them (Yuka who is Kakeru's childhood friend, and Nanami who is Takumi's younger sister). The male's each meet a girl who somehow knows something about the strange things that are going around in their world. (Rimi for Chaos;head, and Kusakabe for 11eyes). Each girl is able to use some strange sword. (Although for Rimi it is revealed much later on)
The elements for each anime is rather dark, and the main characters are sucked into some strange parallel world from time to time, where they are shown strange things or are forced to fight to defend themselves. read more
The world of one young man ends up being turned upside down and the reality he believes to be true may not necessarily be true. Because his reality is being turned up side down he finds himself in a fight to save the future of man kind, only to find the relationship he's in dismantling in some fashion as he watches, either through tragedy or the actual fact the end of the world can bring out the worst in people.
This anime also has one main male character and several females ones. Similar to 11eyes, everyone has a special power but in Chaos;head, they each have their own swords and powers. Also, Chaos;Head dwells into an alternate world like 11eyes.
11eyes and Chaos;Head are both supernatural anime that share some very similar themes that make them go together very well and they offer a good amount of psychological tricks on the viewer. Both series involve magical swords that only a select few can use and main characters that are quite different but are surrounded by a harem of women. They both have a side of romance, some hectic battle scenes and plot twists but Chaos;Head is not as fanservice stocked as its very ecchi counterpart 11 Eyes. If you liked watching one of them you shouldn't hesitate to try out the other.
Male lead in a harem like situation. Well, there's a similarity there already. But beyond that, they also share the similarity of:
Both contain psychological twists
In 11 eyes, a group of students are sucked into a different dimension of the world where time is stopped. Similarly, in Shakugan no Shana, Flame haze can put up a fujutsu (stops time also) which encompasses a specific area and also turns everything red too.
The male protagonists of both series (Kakeru from 11 eyes and Yuji from SnS) are fighting to protect their loved ones (although Shana is more like the protecting one in SnS).
11eyes and Shakugan no Shana are action and supernatural anime that are very similar in feel and they focus on high school students and their problems dealing with everyday life and monsters trying to kill them. Both series have very similar settings that feature main protagonists that have a special power hidden inside them and girls that wield swords in order to fight off an infinite hord of monsters in a seemingly different world - The Red Night in 11eyes and the Fuzetsu that are always setup before battles in Shakugan no Shana. If you liked watching one of the series you wont regret trying out the other. read more
Both have dense main characters who are special in some way. The characters fight in another world and are chased by some eeeevil organisation. Both are love triangles with a red head which uses swords and an annoying useless brown haired girl. Both try to be serious but fail miserably.
Both groups of people are fighting against some other- worldly monsters. The fights all take place in another parallel dimension where the sky would turn dark red whenever a barrier was put up. Though the romance is much better in Shakugan no Shana, 11eyes is still alright. Mainly recommended for people who watched 11eyes first.
There is this common link between the two series which is hard to get into without getting into spoilers for 11eyes, yet in some ways the common link is one that is going to vary from person to person, as one person’s favorite character isn’t going to be the favorite character of another person. What I can say though regarding this common link is that I personally have felt a deep connection with the characters of both series, but found myself rooting for said characters. Yet, in this regard, both series are dark, so one should not go in expecting a happy ending.
Both anime have...
-a crazy girl who is in love with the main protagonist
-a end of the world disaster theme
-few select people with powers
-a final sex scene (though is isn't shown, just suggested)
-a really hard to follow where it wont make sense
-both use alternative worlds as an excuse to tie up loose ends
-ability to predict the future
If I had to choose between the two i would say Mirai Nikki is better but if you like one you will enjoy the other
Both anime have a yandere trying to make the protagonist theirs doing whatever they can to make him theirs even if it means killing others and cheating life, and both have a supernatural horror type feeling to them.
The characters have similar personalities, the story line is chaotic and the art style very similar, not to mention they blend well. The series also have supernatural elements and the characters have some of the same powers.
Both have a lead protagonist that wants to become strong for the one he loves. In both of them the lead never does.
It has the same cliche childhood friend concept.
Both have a seemingly large group of protagonists.
1) both have a girl that turns into yandere
2) both have a love triangle
3) characters have similar personalities
4) both have a guy who can't really do anything
5) both have a different world where they fight ridiculously looking monsters
* Both series has shonenesque MC's...
* Both have to deal with a bunch of random girls [potentional love interests?] [+ a Yandere[psycho?] character appears ]
* Both anime's has only Highschooler's as main protagonists...[ also a lot of loli girls :/ ]
* Both series tries to create a ”very dark” atmosphere around them... [ 11 Eyes fails at this a lot ]
* Nearly exact same storyline...
* Character designs looks way too similar, don't worry - personalities also...
the crimson(red) night? The moon? the heroine? it's obvious. Yuka and Elis have similar personalities and how the male protagonist protects the female heroine....The magic are quite similar in a way, except that 11eyes is more newer with it's character design and animation compared to Night wizard, but you'll like both!
Both have supernatural events going on around the world with meddlesome teens stopping them. For what reason? Who knows, neither of the two seem to have immediate impact on the "real world". It's not until the plot thickens that the consequences of what the bad guys are doing becomes apparent. Also, both have the bad guy take over one of the heroines. And for some reason, I think both have the same feeling to them.
If you're looking for some supernatural action with a cast of contrasting characters, then these two series might be worth checking out because...
- both involve students forced to fight against enemies w/hidden powers
- similar premises
- action, drama, comedy, and some psychological themes in later episodes
The two series left me with the same feeling, but they were both also dark and ecchi, and yet there are plenty of series out there which have these themes. Specifically, in this case we have a group of individuals drawn together to solve the problem of being a “weapon” and the wonton destruction of the world which may end up resulting from the being of a “weapon”. What I mean by this is possibly better understood though if one has watched one of the two series.
The style and outline of story are very similar. They both have action and have a similar premises. The action and fighting in the anime seem similar to be based on the power they are using, and the power that the other side is trying to obtain.
These two anime are similar because they both are dark, supernatural action shows involving high school students and have similar ecchi levels. One guy in both series has several girls around him (though 11eyes has another guy as well). They have very similar feelings with good animation and soundtracks (though 11eyes is a little better in both categories in my opinion). They also have similar unexplained elements in the stories, especially when dealing with the groups that pull the strings behind the scenes.
The series share a similar doom and gloom attitude which leaves the viewer hoping for a better future, but whether the better future comes would provide spoilers. Specifically, there is this fight for one’s life going on, yet this normality that contradicts this fight which the characters find themselves needing to balance out.
Both Relate on going to a place that look pretty normal but it's not so normal when you have to fight to survive. and both made a mistake about everything they have done and tried to fix it to make it all right
Both are Actions where the main character is suddenly thrown in a new world and has to fight to survive. Both had a girl who was the leader of the group trying to stay alive and both guys were clueless why they were in this world.11 eyes has more horror while angel beats has more drama in it.
Similar powers and theme are presented in both series. Main character from both series have the power to see into the future. Their eyes glow too. MC friend in both series can use fire magic. The Red World is very similar to "The Ruined World". Only people who have special abilities can enter these worlds/dimensions.
Both involves the main character pulled into a world separate from their owns in which they must defend themselves with the new powers they've gained.
Both main protagonist has similar power in which they can briefly see an attack ahead of time before executed.
The stories start off with the main character finding out a dark truth about the world they live in, but the truth is only a half-truth. They have to figure out the rest of the truth and allow their powers to grow. The series both can possibly keep the viewers waiting for more
both stories start out with the male lead who seems very weak compared to the people with supernatural powers. later on they awaken that power and fight to protect the ones they care about. in both shows the ending is really dramatic. ayakashi is a lot better than 11eyes because the plot is awesome and the battle sequences are a lot better. 11eyes is good because of the music and because yuka is crazy.
The Gothic motif contains a particular draw, yet the manner in which both utilize said motif is similar. One of the biggest draws for fans of either series is the depressing overture pressing down on the viewers psyche. While this may seem bad - depressing is depressing after all, there is a draw to what fanfic writers call "dark fic", or sending favorite characters through a world of hurt allowing the viewer to root for an ending - or lack there of - where the favorites win out.
It's not explicitly similar in a "Both MC's have blue hair and travel through time" way. But I think it's similar in the creature's designs, the fights, and the environment it gives off. Although I think Shikabane has higher quality versions of all 3 and most would like it more than 11 eyes.
Airing within a year of each other, the melodramatic setting but similar color styles reflects Anime's move towards a Gothic style with a very specific character design, yet also super depressing plot - depressing, as in the characters lives don't go well because both series are of - if one guessed already - the horror genre. While blood spills out, none of this is overdone, yet the subtle tones of hints at other things - things left unseen, plays at the minds of viewers watching either series.
Both Male MC share the same power of one of their eyes having the power to predict movements, though since they haven't mastered it, the effect only lasts for a few moments and MC suffers physical damage near said eye. Both dabble with different kinds of Magic (RM is supernatural phenomena while 11e is apocalypse-esque).
Your typical high school student with a not-so typical class is either figuratively or literally transported into another world where his life will be changed forever. Sword-wielding girls are also here and our protagonists (with very similar personalities) try to master the power inside of them as they battle in a life-or-death situation to protect the one they love. At the end of the day, no matter how different the premises for the shows are, the elements are almost exactly the same and you'll certainty like one if you liked the other.
In SAO, main characters go into a game. In 11 eyes, characters go into another world. Both of the main boys wants to protect the girl which they love and wants to get off the world. So they fight vs the evil.
If your ready for another anime to screw with your brain or your the type who wants to understand everything about an anime and understand the entire series, then this is a great anime to watch. My head was hurting after watching both of these anime...
They both share a very similar story, in both series a group of people with supernatural abilities are brought together. The characters in both series try to find out how and why they got these abilities.
In both series both main charcthers are put into a world and made to fight unknown enemies and neither main Charcthers realize their own powers that are causing the issues. Also in both the charcthers have to fight to save the world
Both animes involve an alternate universe/demension where a group of high schoolers go to fight enemies in order to protect the world.
The protangonists are very similar with their power being the strongest of the group and for their powers to awaken.
Both of the animes also have the enemies (in Yumeria they are Feydooms, in 11Eyes they are Black Knights) that the protangonist try to defeat.
Typical characters from their genres (and in general) fighting strange demons from another world. Not bad but not good supernatural/action/super power anime. One of the female protagonists do not know how to fight and the main male protagonist wants to protect that female protagonist that don't know how to fight. Main male protagonist was your typical, usual teenage boy until the present. (present=until the anime starts or until a few episodes)
Both series contain fantasy themes as the main protagonist's life changes forever after a certain event.
Both series contain plenty of action, drama, comedy, as well as romance.
Both series' main protagonist gets involved with strange phenomenon as he seems to hold a sort of destiny in his hands.
Both series has several girls who are interested in him.
Same genre : harem, ecchi
Protagonists has same strong ability
Kusanagi : Verethragna's 10 forms
Kakeru : Eye of Aeon
Protagonists has same swordsman girl as guard
Kusanagi : Erica
Kakeru : Misuzu
Both has same alternative world, and monsters
Setting aside the fact that there is one main difference in these anime -high school of the dead revolves around zombies and in 11 eyes there has to be dealt with 'magical knights'- their setting has quite some similarities. In both these supernatural ecchi anime, a group of high school students gets isolated from the rest of town and they have to find a way to survive and escape.
- Fragments in 11eyes = Rosa Mystica in Rozen Maiden
- Liselotte Werckmeister = Suigintou
- Red Night = N-Field
Both anime have Main Antagonist basically killing Protagonist team to obtain Fragments/Rosa Mystica for their own use. Both anime also deal with alternate worlds.
The story lines for the two series are rather different, but both series use a Gothic art style which help bring out the mood for the two series. The style for Sola uses brighter colors then 11eyes does. The ending for both pieces gives a good cry, and the plot twists help to draw the viewer in. I would go into more depths about the plot twists but going into depth on these plot twists would provide spoilers for the series.
On first sight they aren't very simlair, but I believe alot people who like 11eyes will probably like Sola, and vice versa. They are both short anime, and the main characters are a bit simliar.
Kakeru - Yorito
Yuka - Mana
Yukiko - Koyori
Misuzu - Matsuri
Aono - Shiori
In some way Imo, their personality and place in the anime are a bit simliar. 11Eyes has a bit more action then Sola, and a bit ecchi. (Not much, but sometimes pantie shots from Yuka..) they both have a bit romance and are supernatural.
The main characters are fighting off an apocalypse. However, in doing so they find tragedy ends up following them no matter what they do. There are also alternate worlds/realities, not to mention multiple time lines. Both series styles are nice as well.
While 11 eyes is not as polished as Madoka, they share some similarities. In both of them, student will gain powers, will fight monsters in an alternate reality and the plot become darker as the anime progress.
+Both have Many girls .
+Both the anime have another world .
+Both the world characters are dragged .
+both the anime main character try to get strong .
+Both are Super Power and Supernatural .
+Both the main character have strongest power .
+Both have fanservice .
+Both have monster like things .
The main character finds themselves being shoved into an alternate wold that is Gothic and experimental in the way it is designed. The main characters also find themselves having to fight to survive said worlds. The upside down feeling is nice as well.
I must say if you watched Elfen Lied, you must also watch 11Eyes. These two animes have almost the same genres and it's both dark-themed. It also involves killing. I feel they're similiar in many other ways even though Elfen Lied was my first to complete anime while 11eyes was one of my latest watched anime. Both have male and female protagnists but in different ages. Both are short animes and comes with a 1 Episode OVA. Different anime Op's & Ed's but seems all depressing (except the Ending of Elfen Lied). Well there's no spoilers this time...
Although the concept is different. The two Anime shows have oblivious guys (Kakeru and Rin) with their childhood friend (Yuka and Kaede) who have a crush and obsession for the main characters. Pretty much harem, jealousy, other important girl likes him, one dude part of the group, Gods, Demons, and supernatural. Difference is 11eyes is horror show trying to fight for survival while Shuffle is a romance harem story with drama.
The plot is completely different but both have a childhood friend in love with the main character as well as the main character devotion to them, so if you like that sort of romance I would suggest watching both of them. Both have a school setting and uniform.
11eyes: drama, action, violence, supernatural, and romance: this is a little bit more extreme in its romance and violence
- includes more romance than chocolate
Chocolate: drama, romance: this is more about the school club but then concentrates more on romance later in the series
Kojou(strike the blood) and Kakeru (11eyes) are both boys surounded by girls. First, they are just living their normal lives until they become involved in fights and get supernatural powers. They both have to try to save the world.
- Both anime take the main characters to a different world that normal humans aren't aware of
- Both parallel worlds have a red, dystopian theme
- Both MCs are related to a prophecy/legend
- Both MCs faced a tragedy at a young age
- They fight hoards of black creatures in the different worlds
- Both MCs have an "overpowered" ability though they take some time to use it (for different reasons)
Both animes involve two central characters who are determined to protect each other throughout the danger. Additionally, the main characters are forced to fight despite not completely understanding what it is that they must fight against.
Each Anime takes place at a school where something supernatural is going on and the main character has a suspenseful time trying to figure out what is going on. The series also use the element of having an alternate dimension that effects the real world. Each has it's own interesting twist.
If you liked the childhood friend character in one of these anime, then watch the other as they are the exact same character right down to the looks. They both seem nice and sweet at first but turn crazy when they get jealous.
Both are about people who are taken to a different world and fight with various monsters and enemies. While Cosprayers is more straightforward and to the point, 11eyes has a lingering mystery that is slowly unraveled throughout. The main objective is very similar in both, with not everything being as it seems.
The style is a dark Gothic with bright colors thrown in, the stories focus around dealing with life and death and also have a fantastical theme to them combined with mystery and alternate dimensions that blends well.
I say both of these are similiar. 11 eyes is still new but it kind of has some similarities with d gray man. They both have to due with some kind of enemy like in 11 eyes theres these weird bug looking monsters and in D gray man they have to due with akuma(demons) and the noah clan. Both have some sort of magic or weapon and they are both action packed series that I would recommend anyone to watch.
It's realy two things of one type. First of all, Mushi-Uta and 11Eyes have similar main characters. 11Eyes like Mushi-Uta is realy cool (and quite strong) drama. but it's spoiler, so i realy don't wanna to tell you about that :D
In both the main characters are transported to another world which is a sort of another dimension of the same world. There are a lot of girls in both and only two main guys. In both the characters have to fight in order to survive because they are attacked by monsters, and the main guys possess a great power. In both there´s a powerful white haired girl that is the source of the evil monsters and knights that attack them and also in both, that girl loved someone that was killed long time ago and that man is somehow connected to the main guy.
Main villains representing the seven deadly sins, but in FMA these capital vices are harder to kill. Some of 11eyes characters have powers and abilities similar to various characters of Fullmetal Alchemist: such as fire control (Roy Mustang of FMA and Takahisa of 11eyes) or certain skills using swords (Bradley of FMA and Misuzu of 11eyes).
Something is not as it looks to be. An hidden evil mastermind deceives the main characters, and drives them into deadly combat with mysterious monsters. There are epic fights and so many plot twists, too.
w-well you see i just watched gantz and the first anime that come in my mind is 11eyes when people are fighting when the time come up and beat some monster..
thats all...but just watched and you can see what im saying
note:-nudity for adult only or people who has adult mind...
Both feature kick ass females as main characters (altough in 11eyes the protagonist IS a male). Both feature strong love stories set during a period of conflic and how those stories intertwine with one another. Valkyria Chronicles is less dark than 11eyes set during a wartime period where the two main chars have to protect their country and deal with each other at the same time. 11eyes is more dark (rated 17+) with some explicit sexual scenes and ecchi, however the similiarity between these animes is evident once you watch them (most of all when it comes to the characters, and their views of the worl around them) - also, both are set on fictional worlds. read more
Many fantasy and funny moments of Chuunibyou strongly reminds 11eyes. Chuunibyou seems to be a parody of 11eyes in several steps. Main characters, Rikka of Chuunibyou and Kakeru of 11eyes, are both blue-headed ones with a blindfolded right yellow eye.
Many fights look pretty similars, with the presence of parallel worlds, and both shows have stunning moe schoolgirls.
