Henjin no Salad Bowl

A reversed-isekai light story where the girls are going to current modern Japan instead of MC getting isekai-ed. This is just like the genre said, a pure slow-pace Comedy theme anime. So don't put any logic or to criticize whether the story does not make sense. It is basically fantasy story in modern world Japan with MC as crappy poor detective got help by the Princess that can do various magic but it does not focus on detective or mystery side, it instead focus on slice of life, cuteness and jokes.

[Characters]
- MC is a crappy private detective that does poor job and live poorly without ... sexual hormone (uninterested in marriage, opposite gender, and sex). A typical MC for Shounen/Boy-targeted anime audience.
- Odin princess is very cute loli and has similar voice accent and vibe with Hina Satō (also known as Odin) from The Day I Became a God.
- Livia as guardian of the princess is voluptuous/sexy and has interesting development, starting as homeless and got so many (failed) jobs.

Overall it is fun and relaxed anime with some little mild nudity. It also contains some useful education (e.g. tips as onscreen text telling you to have permit for fishing in Japan) that shows from time to time. This anime is suitable for 13+ and to be watched together especially if you enjoy cute anime girls.

All of these characters with different and weird upbringing,bunch of ECCENTRICS mixed together in one place like a salad bowl,A SALAD BOWL OF ECCENTRICS.

This anime plot is so chaotic and absurd yet is so enjoyable.

It all kicks off with two females from different worlds ending up on Earth: the blonde princess, who lands ass first on a detective that spying on someone, and the silver-haired swordswoman, who finds herself on the streets and promptly joins the ranks of the homeless. Initially separated, the swordswoman sets out to find the princess while navigating the challenges of street life. But hold on, this isn't where the story peaks. In just the second episode, the princess, after binging on internet and manga, decides she wants to be a detective too. Meanwhile, the still-homeless swordswoman, unsuitable for detective work, opts to become a more hardworking homeless person to earn some cash.

The plot is as bizarre as it gets. Sometimes it feels like the narrative is on a rollercoaster with no brakes, throwing curveballs left and right. In one episode, the swordswoman morphs from homeless wanderer to cult leader in the blink of an eye. It's this random, unpredictable nature that gives the show its charm. Like a salad bowl, you never quite know what you'll get, but somehow, it works.

Sure, not every joke lands, and sometimes the comedy falls flat, but when it hits, it's golden. Just like digging into a salad bowl, sometimes you'll encounter a sour, unripe tomato, but other times, you'll bite into a sweet, juicy carrot.

The opening song and animation is amazing,the song is catchy, definitely one of the best in this season,the animation for the opening is also very eye catching,combining 2d animation with real life enviroment always has it's own charm,so does the animation for this anime, it's colorful and vibrant,just like a salad bowl.

The characters each have different quirks and personalities. No one feels bland, and the character designs are distinct and memorable. Just like a salad bowl, the more variety, the better.

This anime really turns what could be a boring concept into something fun. The protagonist isn’t your usual simp. He meets a princess from another world and ends up getting blackmailed into hiring her (in a funny, lighthearted way, of course).

The story follows their adventures handling simple cases. They’re not too complex or long but definitely interesting. The show strikes a nice balance between humor, work, and their personal lives, which I appreciate.

The princess is a great character, always teasing the protagonist, a fun dynamic to add to the story.

However, it seems like the show keeps finding excuses to sideline any non-loli characters and ... bring in more lolis. Let me put it this way, for every matured girl that you meet, a loli is introduced. And then, the mature lady is taken out, leaving you with the loli. But to be fair, these loli characters are charismatic and funny, not boring at all. So if you're into loli content, this anime might be paradise for you.

I’m not totally in love with it, mostly because of the casting choices and how the story introduces characters but doesn’t really reel them in, even though it feels like there’s room to do so. But keeping things simple isn’t a bad choice. I can definitely see myself watching it to the end on a good day.
