Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, disaster struck human civilization, and now dangerous man-eating monsters roam the ravaged lands, posing an existential threat to the remaining survivors. Amid this turmoil, an isolated facility shelters children and nurtures them in peace. However, as a few among them find out about the world beyond the narrow periphery of their nursery's walls, their curiosity about it slowly grows.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, young survivors Maru and Kiruko band together to search for a special place called Heaven, each for their own reasons. Carrying past burdens and tragic secrets, the two hope to find answers to the cruelty they have experienced in their lives and in the world, which still remains in tatters.

Tengoku Daimakyo is a pretty enjoyable show that stands out with its intresting world setup and emphasis to small details that give hints to some events and characters background., great visuals/animation nice op and ending.
It do have flaws like some character decisions or events are unreasonable and so, also dont expect much of the story development. This anime is just about 2 characters wondering the ruins of remaining city with periodical offset to another story/timeline —> I'd rather watch it as a cozy slice-of-life sci-fi adventure of two characters in a post-apocalyptic world with a nice ground to think about what is going on around..

Mixed Feelings
English.
A series that in my opinion has more merit than it deserves, look at the series it is not completely bad but they showed it to me as the best series this year that will have an amazing story but when I saw it it seemed more like an ordinary series, yes it is a trip in a post-apocalyptic world but nothing more, it does not bring us a new proposal and if it does it seems more like a copy of different series that converged here, from my point of view for a series to work it must hook you from the beginning and ...

Tengoku Daimakyou was a big letdown for me. The first two episodes are super hype, but that’s about it.

Basically, the anime follows two parallel stories: the kids on the outside and the kids on the inside. The inside story is interesting, but it doesn’t get enough screen time, and the characters feel empty. On the other hand, the outside characters are interesting, but their story is empty.

At first, I was really into the outside kids’ story because I thought it would develop into something amazing, but no. Their entire story is basically told in episodes 1 and 2. You could skip ...
