Kubo is basically a milder, inferior version of Bokuyaba. It does have sturdier visuals though.

From the same studio, the premise is the same between an angsty boy meeting a beautiful girl, albeit the boy in The Dangers in My Heart is not teased as much in Takagi-san

Lighthearted middle school romance with a self-conscious protagonist.

This anime seems to be turning into a junior high-school version of Rascal Doesn't Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai or at least the model is already teasing "loser" boy. Future episodes are predicted to go in the "fluffy" direction, though.

Both are wholesome anime, where the shy main character starts a Romance with the outgoing popular girl in school.

The same plot where it involves a dere dere girl to a pathetic guy and guy's life is never the same again. Also both have the same one partner who can be a yandere when the situation arises.

Both anime follow the developing relationship of a gloomy kid and the light of sunshine that changes their world. Jijou wo Shiranai focuses on the gloomy girl realizing that she can have friends and be happy, despite her "shinigami" moniker. However, the relationship starts out a bit one-sided, since the main boy is incredibly earnest, but very oblivious with the affection he shows the main girl. Boku no Kokoro is more evenly balanced with a mutual progression of them both realizing their love for each other and the gloomy boy coming out of his shell. It's a slow burn, but there's a good amount of development in  read more

- Both are very well-animated. - Both are romantic comedies that are sure to make you laugh and smile all the same. - Both feature characters that *start* out all ‘emo’ (or whatever you call it), although Dangers’ male MC quickly moves away from that. - Both are primarily set at school, although have a few brief trips to other places as well.

Both animes have the same voice actress for the protagonists. there is a collaboration where the voice actress plays Tomori's voice tells the opening of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu. I just warn you that if you go see it, watch everything because the ending explains everything and the slow beginning is really cool when you understand what happened. Just be patient and you will see one of the best animes ever made.

In reality, both stories are very different, except for the main characters (MCs). What we see is that both MCs are very alike in some features, but at the same time, they differ in physical attributes. One is tall, while the other is short. One is confident, while the other is shy. After a while of watching both stories, you might wonder why the MCs are so similar yet different. It seems that both may be clever but will behave differently. Here's my recommendation: if you have already seen one, watching the other is fun.

Despite their different storylines, I found the main characters to be quite similar in, not only their appearances but, their personalities and mannerisms. I thought Kyoutarou's quiet way of speaking to his classmates, in contrast to his inner monologues, was very reminiscent of Tomoko. (Not to mention, they both have some kind of unspoken superiority complex against their classmates.) So, if you enjoyed her ramblings, you may also be entertained by the latter lmao

1. The main character mostly have no friend while the heroine is popular 2. The heroine mostly start the conversation and the main character supports what the heroine says. 3. The main character and heroine mostly spend together in the same place

Both are set in middle school and high school respectively. They're similar in the sense, both have a shy timid ML and a popular cute FL, they're wholesome with romantic fluff

Both these character-progressive shows feature female characters as the focus of their surroundings, and deal with the theme of relationships.

Both are coming-of-age stories that are honest and upfront about the good, the bad, and the gross parts of becoming a teenager. Makes you feel that good, nostalgic cringe of "I was like that in middle school too." Yabai Yatsu focuses more on boys' romantic and sexual awakenings to girls, whereas O Maidens is of course focused on girlhood. Both include lots of lighthearted comedy to break up heartwarming scenes. If you want a slightly more grounded take on the middle school coming of age story that takes adolescence seriously and tackles the dark parts of growing up along with the fun parts, O Maidens  read more

Both are S tier romance that build up slowly throughout the episodes while focusing on the two leads. They are heartwarming stories with some good comedic moments. Both male Mcs have a past that influenced their behavior in the present whilst the main girls take up the first step to make their love happen through enchanting words and actions.

Both are about a romance between a loner and the school idol who reaches out to them, in which the loner starts to come out of their shell and become a more positive person thanks to their interactions with the more outgoing half of the couple. Mei's not really an edgelord like Ichikawa is starting out and Say I Love you has more drama while Dangers in My Heart has more comedy, but the story is otherwise pretty similar, just with the genders reversed.

The same plot where girl comes to guy and guy finds girl annoying, but loveable.

Both are comedic parodies with slight romance element, that at the beginning of first episode are giving a wrong impression/vibe. Yabai Yatsu main character is an edgy lone boy that is convinced he is sick in head future murderer, who is constantly fighting his "urges". His desired victim is the popular girl. This anime starts really edgy and I almost dropped it due to initial cringe factor establishing MC, gladly I didn't. Nozaki kun's MC is a cute school girl that thinks of romance and confesses to her love interest. Despite drastic differences by premise in both characters and plot, the similarities are uncanny: especially seen in inner  read more

Similar Vibe (but less mature). Ichikawa is like a Hachiman but more kind. Art style and music are great in both anime.

Similarities: The same story plot where girl is a dere dere while the buy is pathetic. The same romance and comedy genre. Dissimilarities: In one anime the girl there was a smart cookie, while in the other anime the girl there is a dere dere tensai. The guy in the other anime was a bakadere, while the guy in the other anime, is a yandere in the making.

Both of them are best-in-class middle school romances with realistic character interactions. There are no other shows that compare to these two in the genre.

Both anime are centered around middle-school romances from the perspective of a self-identified 'outcast/loner' boy (with a weird superiority complex) and a stereotypically pretty/popular girl with a strange quirk (eating snacks/gaming). Both stories feature similar relationship development, starting with the protagonist hating the love interest, before coming to understand and appreciate their friendship.
