Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu.

I wanted this show to be good, i really did, but it was just so bad. Firstly, the MC is an adult turn child, but acts like a little kid. She doesn't even realize being abused is bad despite being from another world more a humanly advanced. She is liked by animals, but doesn't really make any real connections to them. Its just, O your fluffy, so cute.... Skip 20 slides, where MC does something really stupid and is rewarded for it. Kid playing light hero, that is incapable of playing any hero. Since the animals aren't really side characters just scenery, this mean u ... need to love the MC. However, the worst part is the MC and her childish attitude despite her being 40. This one is a heavy miss, but i'll be honesty it could still worse.

I love cute animals. Always a fan when dogs or cats or dragons or (...) are an important part of a story. And so of course I was looking forward to "Fluffy Paradise"!

A young girl is chosen to evaluate humans in a new world. A god is worried that they are too brutal to all other creatures and she has to decide whether he is right. As a prepayment, she is given the ability to make every animal love her.

Omg a tiger - and then a dog and a dragon - oha even a little bird I can't get over it!
Like I said, I love ... animals and was absolutely in sugar shock at the beginning of this series. 90% of this beginning is just great and cute and adorable.
The remaining 10% unfortunately deals with a "story" that seems important and could be interesting, but is taken up so sporadically that it's annoying every time. Imagine you're eating your favorite food but every now and then, for some reason, there's half a bite of your top two. Of course you wouldn't find this disgusting, but it would still be annoying.

Unfortunately, the anime soon develops more of this "story", but instead of picking up on the 10% just mentioned, a new narrative develops around some monsters that have been driven out by humans and corrupt vassals. This could be quite interesting, but unfortunately it disturbs the cuteness extremely and doesn't deliver much more than some extremely abstruse situations. For instance, the very young protagonist is soon made responsible for the deaths of dozens of people. Also, this intrigue, the plan that the protagonist forges and everything else that has to do with this "story" is simply interrupted in the middle and the viewer is left with big question marks after episode 12.

The anime ruined itself in the end. Individual elements would have had potential, but don't harmonize with each other at all and ultimately even interfere with each other. The fact that an incomplete story was imposed on the anime also really annoys me.

Fluffy Paradise - another anime I'm reviewing which has a seldom few preliminary reviews.

Honestly, it's very easy to forget this is even an isekai, to the point where it is so casually glossed over, that it would have made 10x more sense for this to just be a power-fantasy... fantasy anime with a side-order of moe/kawaii. One of those ones where it feels like an isekai and has all the makings of a isekai, without actually being one.

To be quite honest, after reading the several reviews that people have bothered to write-up as preliminaries, it is definitely a poignant point to note that the protag ... is meant to be an almost 40-year-old woman in the body of a toddler - because, quite simply, outside of some tiny musings and thoughts she has, she spends 99.9% of the time acting like and talking like said toddler.

Now, what about the meat of this anime?
Well, it's "Mofumofu", with a helping of fantasy-noble political intrigue.
I have to point that out, as 2 of the reviews here were written in the first 3-4 episodes, which were indeed solely "Mofumofu" and nothing much else, outside of the entire Royal Family going "OMG animals love her, she's a prodigy!".

The issue with this though, is that there's only 2 episodes left to air as of the writing of this review and, for the most part, the story has only just started delving into the plot-point set-out in EP1 with God saying "the humans are the evil ones". There's more than likely going to be some major sequel-bait come EP12 - let's just hope they even get a S2 green-lit.

Now, by no means am I saying this anime is bad.
It certainly isn't going to be everyone's cup-of-tea, especially if you're on the look-out for the next "Eminence in Shadow" or some-such, but if you don't mind sitting back and just enjoying this isekai-iyashikei (which is what this is), you're in for a cute, cuddly little anime to turn your brain off to. The animal designs and general art-style are also quite nice as well.

The best comparison would be "By The Grace of the Gods", which is another isekai-iyashikei that aired a while ago.

I am personally enjoying this for what it is; It never set out or stated itself as the next Mushoku Tensei, but it's certainly nailing it's whole premise of "Mofumofu".

Recommended - 7/10.

I honestly liked this anime. It was cute, fluffy, funny and serious. I mean, what's more to love about this anime. It delivers on its promise. Being fluffy. And if you can't take cuteness or fluffiness for any reason, then this anime clearly is not for you!

The animation and art style was good. I liked it. Although it gets a bit repetitive after a while, it is still good.

The character development is kinda nonexistent until you reach the halfway point I think? However, after you have reached that point, the character development grows slightly. Especially the last episode I think.

The story is ... good too. I can't deny, I couldn't have came up with the story. It is way too crazy and funny, yet serious when it wants to be.

All in all, I enjoyed this anime. It was very good until the very end. I hope for a season 2! :)

So Fluffy I Could Die.

If you're the type of person who enjoys light-hearted isekai and is also an animal lover or a crazy pet owner whose heart bursts out of their chest at the thought of touching fluff and floof then you may appreciate a couple of episodes of Fluffy Paradise. It is a story about an overworked office lady working herself to death and then reincarnating as the daughter of a noble family in another fantasy world with a Snow White ability to make every animal love her so she gets to touch, pet, and play with as much fluff and floof, fur, ... feathers and dragon scales all she wants. It's a show for real animal (and monster) appreciators. Although, as Neferima Osfe, her mission from god is to judge whether or not humanity should be wiped out for being habitual animal and monster abusers, so the show isn't exactly as light-hearted as it may seem. It ultimately ends up shooting the narrative in the foot.

Fluffy Paradise's first couple of episodes are entertaining. Nefe is not only incredibly adorable herself, but the show goes the extra mile to make every animal she comes in contact with feel uniquely adorable, whether that would be a dog, a bird, an all-powerful (Scandinavian(?) elemental tiger named Lars, or a giant deity fire dragon. As expected of a factory-milled light novel adaptation, the animation is usually bare. Still, whenever there's some fur on screen, and Nefe sinks her hands (or herself) into it, I can't help but wish that was me, so I think it is fair to say the animators at EMT Squared understood the assignment given to them. I also like how animal appreciation is used as a way for Nefe to make connections with other people who also go on to appreciate the creatures of the world more. It's a nice bit of character writing.
On a side note: That ED man… it's so cute! And Fluffy!!

Unfortunately, after episode 4, politics started to kick into the narrative, and I have to say, the writing and world-building aren't great. Suddenly, you begin to remember that Nefe is a mentally 20-30-year-old woman in the body of a 4-year-old girl lecturing her abusive teacher and racist on beast-person racism… Suddenly, you realise there isn't a central antagonist to carry the elementary and uninteresting politics the show clumsily implements, and worst of all, the show forgets that it's supposed to be about a small child frolicking with fluffy animals, hence the title. When the anime does wake up and remembers to shoehorn in a fluffy animal for Nefe to become excited over, it feels more like an intrusion to the plot than a naturally incurring event. Hell, the story itself doesn't seem all that interested in the story. In one episode, Nefe and the gang work to expose a corrupt noble, but Nefe only gives footnotes on how they solved the problem due to seemingly running out of air time. If the show isn't interested in telling a story, why should I be interested in watching it?

I say that, but I watched the whole of Fluffy Paradise and enjoyed most of it despite its flaws. Like I said, in the beginning, the first couple of episodes hook you. Everyone loves animals, after all, and they deliver that fantasy of living a blissful life, loving and being loved by all of fantasy Earth's creatures. I wouldn't particularly recommend continuing after getting your fluffy fill. Still, if you do, you'll be in for some mediocre light novel fantasy politics storytelling with literal fluff in between. Also, Klobots are just different breeds of dogs standing on two legs in this world, which I will admit I found funny and adorable.

6/10 It's Okay.

Feel-good isekai slop that starts out cute and fun and turns more serious as it goes along and not for the better.

The tl;dr on the plot is that a young career woman dies from stress, wishing that she could've at least had the pleasure of touching the fur of her parents' cat, so she is reincarnated as a noble girl by a god, with the ability of being uniquely attractive towards all animals and monsters alike, an ability she wanted so she could 'touch all the fur', but is also tasked with judging the world on the side of humans or monsters, as they can't ... get along.

It starts out fine, it's a cute premise and it's fun to see everyone stare bewildered and wonder why this child is able to tame and get along with the wildest and most noble of creatures. It quickly turns into a monster housing project show, where some serious topics are touched on, but it's done so selectively. There's a pretense of there being consequences to her actions, rather than actual consequences in the story.

Nothing special.

The show is exactly how it looks. If you're looking for something laid back and silly then it's a decent watch, nothing spectacular, but not terrible either. It tries to have a "dark" undertone to appeal to an older audiance. Then they try very very hard to hide the "dark" undertone and make it more silly than anything. I don't get why they do that, but sure. If you ask me the "dark" undertone is a waste of writing if they're just going to cover it up so badly. Other than that failed little expedition it's a decent show. Would be better if they went ... down the rout of By the Grace of the Gods and kept the light heartedness with none of the attempted darkness stuff but hey it is what it is. If you liked By the Grace of the Gods then you'll probably find this anime worth watching, its very similar in a lot of ways. Unfortunately it does fall short in pretty much everything, the MC is badly written, the world building is shallow and as mentioned the story tried to have a "dark" undertone then at the same time tries to cover that same "dark" undertone up and make it as light hearted as possible.
Oh hey look humans are abusing these creatures and killing them and driving them to extinction? How do we fix that? First of all lets just completely ignore that it's happening then lets get all the poor creatures that are being abused together into one big camp where they can be bread for the sole purpose of being hunted like livestock. Yeah great idea, now lets mix in some sugar and spice and everything nice and make it all fun and happy giggles.
Overall I'd recommend the story to anyone who likes silly, stupid, light hearted anime and who aren't really looking for a good enguaging story, but just something to set down and mind rot to. But otherwise, if that's not your dig then pass this one up. You will thank me later. Personaly I kida like mind rot anime sometimes.

I expected interesting things from this anime, especially telling about Loli as Healing from the tiredness of working all day.
But unfortunately it's not that sweet.

The first thing that this Office Worker who suddenly died was very stupid, when asked if he wanted to have the power of teleportation or the ultimate weapon, he answered that he wanted to pet an animal with soft fur. Stupid!

Let's get past this MC's stupid decision, the storyline is also very inappropriate, I thought this anime would tell about the MC's daily life with cute animals but apparently not.
There were lots of conflicts here and there, especially what made me ... sick was when I saw the shocked reactions of the people around him when the MC was with a vicious animal or supposedly unfriendly animals.

Apart from the shortcomings above, there is one thing that really makes me sick about this anime, namely the background sound or soundtrack is very annoying to the ears, Have you ever watched Tom & Jerry? Yes, this anime is the same as the cartoon. When there are certain scenes, the background sound will start loud! It's just that what differentiates Tom & Jerry funny, but not in this anime.
I don't know what the title of this music is, like children's songs or medieval songs.
I don't know what the creators of this anime were thinking, usually the background sound is made smaller than the chat sound, but not here, in my opinion the back sound is more audible than character chat.

Its easy-going anime has some unique ways of comforting characters but has less to offer worth the time when you think about refreshing your mind.

Story: As usual, we can see in this type of anime, but the author is well enough and has tried his best to fit the storyline and background, which is enough but needs improvement.

Art: Good, but it will be good to watch if it is updated more.
Sound: Fine by me.
Character: Easy-going character, although the main protagonist and other supporting characters have less background, and the author just focusing on the main idea of this anime and delivering everything related to it.

Personal ... enjoyment: I have enjoyed and find it comforting to watch anime.

Fluffy Paradise: another one of the many isekai-type shows that come out each season, with a slight twist. Instead of focusing on the usual 'becoming the strongest' trope, the main character's goal is to pet as many cute animals as possible, which eventually transitions into saving as many cute monsters and animals as she can manage. Quite light-hearted and fun, good to focus on or as background noise, but by no means a masterpiece or one of the best of the Winter 2024 season. Although, some parts of the later episodes do hit quite hard, and I found myself tearing ... up twice during the final episode. (Though this probably won't be a problem for most people, I'm really sensitive to emotional scenes.)
The cast of characters is relatively good, though some characters aren't focused on quite as much as I would like, with that screen time given to irrelevant side characters who change almost nothing about the plot, but isn't that almost every show? The voice acting is good, the animation is up to standard, and the art style is very cute. The story, while slow to pick up and somewhat inconsistent, with 'New Cute Animal of The Week' episodes for the first half, and then a random episode about embezzlement and tax fraud or something before the final arc, is however simple and easy to follow. It's not a show that you have to focus completely on to enjoy.
My final problem with the show is the main character's mental age. It's never explained how exactly her reincarnation worked, seeing as she acts and thinks like a child, even though she technically has the mind of an adult, but it's not something that's really distracting from the show. All in all, definitely a solid choice to watch for the Winter 2024 season, because we all need that dose of a cute character doing cute things.

Shows like Fluffy Paradise are always a mixed bag, they're good if you're watching it for cute animals, but that's all it really has going for it. It even kind of lacks in that department too. I've only watched the first 3 episodes, so obviously take this with a grain of salt. Fluffy Paradise was just meh to me. If you want a story driven show to watch, avoid this. There is very little plot so far, and is basically just adorable kid interacts with cute animals the anime.

even though the art isn't amazing, I think it fits well and is aesthetically pleasing to ... look at. 7/10

the characters are what you'd expect from a shoujo fantasy show like this, fairy tale like princes, a cute little girl MC, nice workers for the kingdom. so basically your typical fantasy characters 6/10

I rather tread the path carefully when it comes to watching animes by EMT Studios. Other than the two animes which I managed to consume from this studio, I have basically dropped every other anime from this before completing even a single episode. And I have a fucking "No drop rule"!

So when I saw that studio was EMT while writing this review, I was amused. Not by the fact that this anime is not bad, cause for that I was grateful, but because they also seem to make somewhat decent shows.

Now with some obligatory "English is not my first language" and "This is my first ... anime review" because I usually review mangas, lets start what is this even about.

Now bagging some overtimes under her belt for a month, our protagonist "Midori Akitsu" also bags her death. But that name would become irrelevant later on because soon after dying she has the grand offer of being reincarnated in another world and the power she gets was that she can pet any animal almost instantly, (guess animals doesn't include humans in that universe). And she is now also burdened with a task of deciding whether the humans in the world she will reincarnate into should be wiped out or not.

So this is practically the basic outline of the plot. Now the plot point of judging humans apparently got sidelined as fast as it was introduced cause it is not even mentioned once in the 4 episodes, maybe a little hint in the 4th one but that's it. We are bombarded with fluffy scenes here and there, various animals are introduced, tigers, dragons, etc. It is not bad because that is what anime promotes itself as and what it delivered was similar to it, but apart from that there is nothing much to follow. Some strokes to the pet's hair and the remaining is just isekai-nobles bullshit. Protag overpowered, from an important noble family, comes to find herself in high regards of almost everyone including the royal family. I would have liked it much more if their vision was only focused on fluffy thing and spared us from the isekai tropes. Can't help but feel bored at times though it is not that worse that I can't finish the episode.

Onto the characters, they are pretty harmless as such but the MC sometimes comes as annoying to me, especially the way she acts like a five year old kid despite being a grown ass woman. Now this could have been ignored pretty easily had they given a brief mention about the working of her psyche, but that is absent. Also the dialogues at times, for example "pwease", "sowwy", etc. seem weird for some reason. I brush those off in other animes but I can't seem to in this one. You may feel like that I am maybe nitpicking too much in this, but that is what I feel like.

About the animation, they are pretty much what I expected them to be apart from the glossy finish. I thought it would be the staple isekai animation, either a damp colour palette or an overly colourful one, bland and uninteresting to watch, but this doesn't give me that vibe. Also the dragon was not fucking CGI. W for EMT I guess.

Lastly about the sound, I don't know how to judge it. I am tone-deaf to Japanese music, so I can't give you insight about the OP or ED. I usually skip both after hearing it once anyway. Yeah I am that imbecile who doesn't know how to watch anime. I thought the voice acting was fine. Background music was fine, even though I noticed it at only few instances.

While I usually refrain from rating an anime before it ends airing, because ratings can change at any moment, I have to give one for the review. For now it is average in my opinion.

This show wasted it's first 3 episodes.
It's about an isekai toddler that loves petting animals, and in case you didn't catch that, she will do almost exclusively that for those precious, precious 3 episodes of screentime. Just some kid playing with animals can be fun to watch, don't get me wrong. But it needs either a gilfted narrator that can convey they joy and impressions on each animal, or interesting animals and exceptional art style for this approach to be viable. We get neither of those here.

Well, it seems they did catch onto this fact after 3 episodes, so a proper story and a grand ... jouney start shining through all the badly animated fur. But the remaining 9 episodes aren't enough to stop the story at a satisfying moment, and an extra two episodes would be required to correctly settle the plot of the first arc of the proper story.

It wasn't horrible to watch (though I admit I struggled until episode 4), but I can't recommend with clear conscience a show that makes such a horrible mistake in deciding how the story should be distributed among the episodes.
Did they not have an overarching director for this show or something?

TL;DR - It starts not bad, funny and cute but after episode 4 becomes boring-mid. Also, the opening is a *lie and has some spoilers to the story. *you will understand from the longer version.

Longer version: from episode 5 it is starting to become less and less interesting. Epsidoe 1-4 are pretty interesting, but episodes 5-6 are mid af and boring especially because of the opening that shows like a "dark story", in the end, it's just another mid-story without anything dark, maybe a little bit. Also, half of the opening is spoilers for major events in the anime. After that, from episodes 7 to ... 12 it's trying really hard to be good again without success. The last 3-2 episodes are nice, but nothing compared to what it was with episodes 1-4. In my humble opinion, it just goes too fast forward. Also, it has at least one plot hole that bothered me from episode 1. Watch it if you really don't have anything else to watch.

I like this anime for its cute looks and its charms. The art style of the anime is very bright and colorful making it stand out from other anime. It also stands out based on its story it's about a little girl making friends with animals by hugging them and that's cute. It stands out from many anime as I feel like many either just love anime or action anime that repeats cliches.

There are some flaws with the anime having some jokes that don't land correctly and some things in the anime just drag, but I see the potential for a Season 2 if ... they can fix these issues, but these flaws don't ruin the creativity and cuteness of this anime.

Fluffy Paradise is a fantasy series where the main character is a modern day Japanese salary-woman who dies of overwork on their apartment floor. She is reincarnated into the youngest child of an aristocrat family as Neema (Nefertima, Osfe) with the god's blessing of being loved by monsters and animals. With this blessing, Neema makes it her goal to help out as an interpreter for monster species around the region solving problems and meeting new kinds of animals and monsters.

Story & Character: 5/10
There is no story in this series, it's literally a paradise of 'fluffy' monsters. The series follows a very simple structure: Monster problem ... near X village, Neema sneaks off to investigate, Neema speaks with monster and grows close, Adults come in and help with the rest, Animals join team Neema after she names them. It has a very basic and repetitive storyline with no major goal in sight which makes it less of a story driven narrative and more like a fun, episodic series. The characters lack depth because all they are used for is their contribution to helping Neema when she needs it; Beyond that they are used for comic effect especially the family members. When watching Neema cry or get her feelings hurt it just felt wrong, a salary woman can't possibly have the mind of a child - It doesn't make sense, there were inconsistencies where Neema acknowledges here past life but then somehow just turns into a kid mentally.

Art & Sound: 5/10
Nothing too out of the ordinary from the art and animation; I enjoyed the super deformed art style whenever something cutesy was involved. The animation isn't as focused since action is pretty much devoid of this series but it definitely is passable.
Sound is okay, the voice acting and music choices weren't iconic but they were at the modern standard. Sound effects used for comic effect were interesting, although not memorable.

Overall & Enjoyment: 5/10
It definitely lacked a lot but for a non-serious series it was wholesome but not wholesome knowing that a fully grown adult is crying from getting her feelings hurt by her family members. The cutesy animals and monsters were a good change to the reincarnation/isekai narrative but it lacked any sense of driving force or overarching goals.
