Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!

Megumin is a young and passionate wizard from the Crimson Demon Village, a remote community of mages with red eyes and a flair for the dramatic. She has devoted her life to mastering explosion magic, a powerful but impractical spell that leaves her drained of mana and unable to move for the rest of the day. Regardless, she refuses to learn any other skills.

Along with her childhood friend and self-proclaimed rival, Yunyun, Megumin enrolls in the Red Prison: a prestigious academy for Crimson Demon magic users. There, she learns more about the secrets and history of her clan, as well as the threats and challenges they must face. As she polishes her power at the Red Prison with the help of her loyal familiar Chomusuke and her adorable little sister Komekko, Megumin aims to become the greatest explosion wizard of all time!

The series has a slightly weaker start, but it gradually gains momentum and the second part of the series is a blast! Megumin and Yunyun managed to pull the story along perfectly even without the classic party and I'm really happy that, just like the original Konosuba, the series is half serious and half funny - it works surprisingly well. There are also great lines, nice plots and great EXPLOSIONS, so you never get bored. The opening of this anime once again enchanted me with a combination of brilliant animated sequences and excellent music. Overall, it's a bomb, I mean EXPLOSIONS!!! 🎇🎆🔥🎆🎇

Mixed Feelings

Story (6) :
The story of the anime is a Megumin before meeting her party. The introduction is more like a comedy like a chit chat dialogue. But there is a story that suddenly rises like fighting the Devil. The story is more about Megumin's journey to become the strongest adventurer, the execution is quite interesting but to bring enjoyment is still lacking. There is only one story that is very funny and enjoyable. Overall its fine

Characters (7) :
Here it is more prominent to Megumin and Yunyun, well they are a duo who can't get along and that's what makes this story still have ... comedy. But what I like is Zesta and that makes the episodes with Zesta enjoyable. For the villains, they are ordinary but I appreciate why they always appear in several episodes

Visual (9) :
The visuals here are really good, it feels like Isekai. Then the visual effects on the magic, and the animation is also good. Then they are also very detailed with the environment like flowing water. Overall beautiful

Audio (7) :
The opening and ending are pretty good. Then the OST too, the sound effects are especially good and the voice actors are also good at playing their dialogues to make it funny.

A bad anime for a bad character. This anime had NOTHING going for it. The MC is still just as annoying and unlikeable as in the main series. The music was alright, and the animation was good BUT it still looks exactly the same as season 1 even though this is was released 7 years later. Overall it was simply bad. Absolutely boring and the plot was generic and uninteresting and wasn't enjoyable to watch at all. I will never understand why they made a spinoff for the worst character of the main party, 4/10. In my opinion it should've been a Darkness Spinoff.
If ... you like megumin you MIGHT like this show, but if you're like me and completely despise her you will get NOTHING enjoyable out of this.
