Both titleas are similar in general - Issekai - Reincarnation - School - Harem - light story In slight difference - our boy isn't loved by everyone, more likely is hated by them.

literally the same anime with different setting. slightly more entertained by the MC

Main characters for both are kindred spirits and behave similarly to one another, wanting to rule from the shadows, to not stand out. The shows go in very different directions from the start, and aside from being isekai they aren't too similar. But there's enough coincidences going on that you will find yourself thinking about the other anime

The main characters have similar personalities. Both often pretend to be villains.

Both of these animes are about the main character being born again into a video game world as a character. In both shows, there is a female character who is always surrounded by a harrm.

• Both are parody of shoujo reverse harem genre. • Both are quite enjoyable with lots of intresting character. There is a perfect balance of comidy and drama in both the series. • Both the anime have a below avarage animation.

Same sort of Otome game corruptions, with lots of humour ensuing

Both male protagonists uses experience they gain from otome games in order to capture cute girls hearts!

Same shitty CG with good ass story, both are really strong in terms of plot and have excessive fanservice. 100% must watch Otome game, if you liked this anime.

~ similar main characters ~ the pain of being crushed ~ a non-cliche series ~ and low scores that I can't understand why

If you liked the humor that of the main character being an ass with beautifully evil expressions, this show gives that same feeling of apathy towards their own roles. One due to being thrown into task of being a hero unexpectantly and without choice, and the other being thrown into a dating sim with characters they absolutely despise.

They both involve Japanese adults who got reincarnated into an otome game they cleared and they get close with the villainess. They also use their experience and knowledge of the game to have things go their way and defy the game's plot.

I watched the rising of the shield hero a few years before watching this, and I gotta say Shield Hero was definitely the better anime. I'm just going to refer to The Rising as the Shield Hero as just Shield Hero so it doesn't take as long to type. They have similar protagonists who don't really give a sht about the world's social hierarchy and devote time into messing it up (However Naofumi, the MC in Shield Hero, does this out of pure hatred to obtain revenge for the crimes that he's suffered, a very interesting coping mechanism in the series when we realize the rest  read more

Konosuba as the most iconic series accompanying a smug protagonist in what would be a cliché setting Isekai thing follows it's sprit lead in Otome Game Kibishii anime. Leon demonstrate to be smug as much and, although not being exactly like Kazuma having a party of degenerates, Leon takes the stick having a not so loveable personality but getting the job done. They are your cynical protagonists not afraid of getting their hands dirty to accomplish something and, in their own way, they are kind more realistic than your brilliant knight persona protagonist cliché. Protagonist are considered a 'Mob MC' which means they are trying to live a normal life even though they are jumbled up in the 'Main Story'. Protagonist isn't lawful-good natured in general but very manipulative and calculative in their actions, they choose the actions which leads to their benefits whether its morally right or wrong.

Both animes are similar - main character isekai'd into another otome world where they are the villian. Everyone misunderstands them so they embrace the villioness role. They have to do whatever it takes to become strong to survive a world like this. Only a few understands the main character for who they truly are. Gets you questioning why the game does not follow the initial storyline. Mob is harem Rekishi is shoujo Both are refreshing and different if youre into villians

Both MCs gets transported to another world Both MCs started with no power and had to work hard and became successful with their knowledge They are also both rotten to the core

Both anime has capturing girls harem, comedy and mechs, the protagonist in Kami Nomi is a little more selfish than Date a Live

- Both anime are isekai (although on Otome he may only be an isekai in appearance, there are several odd clues) - Both protagonists start from the bottom and are treated as nobodies, only to later have those tasty scenes of social revenge when they become strong - Both protagonists get hate at some point - Both protagonists do what they want without caring too much and show off their strength in front of everyone constantly - Both protagonists are betrayed by their friends at some point, although in Otome this event has much less importance to the plot - Both protagonists find relics that make them stronger -  read more

Both protagonists are kind cranky and, deep down, has a difficult personality but a charismatic one, even if not a glorious one. In a sense, you could say the protagonists in both series have everything thing to be the cliché of the genre but they turn 180° in that premise with the middle finger on. Basically, this is what mades both anime and, honestly, their heroines aren't half bad so if you like smart ass protagonists but not glamorous one those might be good picks and, mainly Kyuukyoku, have interesting side characters but I enjoy the "chemistry" between them in both series nonetheless.
