Sorairo Utility

So I watch this ?prototype? after I finished the main anime. As a person who doesn't get to abroad the hype train leading to the full anime, I think this short episode really do justice to set off the vibe of the anime. If you plan to watch the main series and don't know how you feel, just watch this first to decide whethee to watch it or not. The only difference would be in animation alone. Same character, same pace, same plot. Me personally just happy to see more content of the three MC girls because they are so adorable even in the early ... days, barely anything change except now they got backstory and all in the main anime. While in here, they just kinda introduce what kind of activities we will expecting when the full anime release.

Ok, here we go for the sixth time:

Characters:
-Principal: I like them because they want to have fun together playing golf (5/7).
-Secondary: They don't exist (0/3).

Logic:
Nothing out of the ordinary, also being realistic (10/10).

Entertainment (Personal):
... As expected.(8/10)

Basics in an anime:
-Animation: Excellent at times, usually cute (1/2).
-OP, ED & OST's: Pleasant. (1/2)
-Vice: I'll watch it again if the anime manages to make me a fan (1/2).
-Tag fulfillment: Since it's short, not much is explored. (1/2)
-Ending: Poor those who watched it in its premiere and loved it (1/2).

Plot Development (or initial premise):
It's only 1 episode of 14 minutes, it's obvious that almost nothing is going to be developed. (4/10)

Personal Reflection (Clearly personal):
Surprisingly pulled it off, so I'll be watching their anime.(2/10)

Comments:
Doesn't seem perfect as an introduction, but at least it's fun despite being short.

What's up with these inflated review scores? It's only half an episode, ofc it could spent a lot of resources to produce better than a lot of other sports anime. Even then, the quality is nothing special.

There's really nothing to write home about since a lot of good competitive/sports anime come in their duration and how immersed you are with it. Being a half episode is no way should be a strength, but a total challenge. And this one absolutely doesn't pass it.

The characters are pretty basic, the plot is incapable of giving anything. Overall, both of them are not a problem per se, but ... again it's a big problem in 15 minutes anime.
