| When you think about it, it really not that big of a surprise. Yostar Pictures have for the most part mainly done gacha game commercials in the past. Only two of the anime listed under them can be classified as "normal TV length." Both Azur Lane anime, the first of which was animated by Bibury Animation Studios and produce by Yostar. And the second which I suspect was outsourced entirely to CANDY BOX since it was only 8 mins long per episode. I think the fact this even got funded is a miracle in itself, since it seems like the director Kengo Saito has been shilling and pushing for his passion project for a while now. 15 mins of animation might be a short runtime, but hey atleast it got made. |
