Synopsis

After a stern yet compelling speech by Otto Suwen, Subaru Natsuki solemnly swears that he will successfully make it through this timeline and save everyone he can along the way. The first step toward achieving this goal is to help Emilia work through her past; however, that is easier said than done. Feeling as if she has been lied to by everyone around her, it will be difficult for Emilia to trust anyone, even Subaru, her self-proclaimed knight.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2 presents the culmination of Subaru's experiences with the Sanctuary and its people, along with his unwillingness to give up hope on saving them.

Re:Zero is simply captivating; the second season has an incredible plot, I lack words to describe it. The involvement with the characters, the drama inserted in each of the episodes, the fear that Subaru always gets into more trouble as time passes—it gives such dynamism to the story that few works can achieve.

To better define Re:Zero, it's a surprise; unimaginable things can happen to Subaru, and you just accept it and experience watching a story like this. The anime tackles it in a more visual way; those who read the novel carry a burden of imagination, which sometimes makes things much worse.

This season itself carries ...

Mixed Feelings
To keep things short, the show has some good moments, but there are some that make me cringe a little too much. It tries really hard to pull at your heart strings, and its just way too much at times. The plot is a little confusing to follow the finer details of, but overall I think the pacing is pretty good and the not all the details are needed to get what's going on for the most part.

I think if you watched season 1, it's worth finishing through season 2. Season 3 is coming out soon, but my hopes are not super high. I ...

Tldr: set up Echinda as a very interesting character in part 1, realize it’s too complicated to properly write her and instead refocus part 2 on boring shit happening inside a backwater village while also planting seeds for better seasons to come and of course completely killing the pacing of part 2 by doing so.

I very much liked the introduction of Echidna into the story in part 1 of season 2. I liked the idea of giving the story a new layer to keep it interesting since we explored the basic premise thoroughly in the previous season. I was hopeful that the powers Echidna brought ...
