Beastars 2nd Season

Beastars does something other stories attempt but never quite go full out with it. It creates a world filled with furries. Usually, this is used in more light-hearted series to add a whimsical nature to it's characters. In Beastars though, it is being used to tell a dark and thrilling story about instinct, upbringing, prejudice, and overcoming nature and habit.

The first season does a lot to establish the characters and the rules for this world. Exploring the dynamics between carnivores and herbivores, establishing how different species and even breeds of the same species interact and judge each other. In season 2, the show explores ... the consequences of these dynamics.

Everyone has their own opinions, their own stakes in the world. All characters have their own way of doing the good thing, presenting the issues and conflict between ideologies in a really unique way. Nobody is in the wrong, which is what makes the conflict so engaging and interesting to unfold.

In conclusion, Beastars is a series that presents a world in which animals built a human-like society, a society ruled by laws of nature. And it explores all of the problems that come with that in an interesting and comprehensive way. With a varied cast of interesting characters, it truly explores a world that's unlike anything I ever seen.

Beastars Season 2 almost feels like a different show to the first season. Focusing less on the relationship between Legoshi and Haru and more on what goes on behind the shadows in the Beastars world.

Story - 10/10
The Story picks up just after Season 1 ends as we move onto a new arc. In this arc we follow Legoshi's journey to get stronger and to bring a schoolmate hiding a dark secret to justice. At the same time, we follow Louis and his journey following on from the finale of the first season.

This story is much more intriguing than the first season due to the amount ... of world building we get this time. We spend much more time away from Cherryton Academy and more time with the inhabitants of the Black Market along with those who run it.

Every episode is better than the last this season due to the amount of surprises and the increase in tension as we grow closer to the finale and the conflict that will inevitably take place

Characters - 10/10
This character development this season is unrivalled by the first and is likely unrivalled by most anime too. The two main characters this season are Legoshi and Louis and wow do they get a lot of development. The two of them are put into entirely new situations that they likely never would've seen themselves in as we watch how they adapt to these situations and try to grow stronger.

The new characters, while having nowhere near as much development are still really well written and likable characters that I hope we get to see more of in future seasons (well, with an exception or two).

Sound - 10/10
Just like the first season, the soundtrack is phenomenal. It just fits the atmosphere really well, especially the jazzy tunes during the Shishigumi scenes.

The opening this season is amazing. Sure, the first season's opening was great, but this time we have YOASOBI. It doesn't get any better than that.

Art - 10/10
The artstyle is pretty much the same as the first season, being CGI. And no, this isn't your typical low quality CGI that you might see in other shows this season (i'm looking at you Attack on Titan and Promised Neverland), the CGI in Beastars is really well done.

Unlike the first season, the OP and ED are both in 2D this season. Visually, the OP is definitely a downgrade from the first but this really doesn't take anything away from the show. The ED, however, is a major upgrade. The entire thing is beautifully hand drawn and is up there as one of the best EDs visually. Seriously, it looks amazing.

Overall - 10/10
Beastars is the one anime I look forward to every week this season, for the reasons mentioned above, and will likely end up being my Anime of the Year. If you've watched season one and are thinking about watching this, watch it. Trust me, season one is already great but this surpasses it by a mile. If you didn't enjoy the first season, this may not be for you but i'd still give it a chance to see if it grows on you. And if for some reason you haven't watched season one yet then you should really go watch it.

This is only my second review on mal but I just can't control my happiness and enjoyment of this anime.
This season is amazing and (in my opinion) better than season 1. I am only on episode 10 so perhaps you may think I am quick to judge, BUT hear me out-

This season goes way deeper than the first season ever did. Where the first season focused primarily on the romance between Legosi and Haru, the second season gives us so much more flavor on the world in which these characters live.
Season 2 primarily focusses on Legosi wanting to become stronger to solve the ... mysterious death in their school (and to keep Haru save).

Friendships, families, corruption, survival, prejudice, bullying, traumas and even mental health. These are all themes that play a huge role in this season, and the execution is done SO WELL. I have seen many people skipping Beastars because of the idea that they are watching *some fury show*, but they don't seem to realize that this show tackles all of the previous mentioned themes and problems in a very realistic way.

All of the characters in Beastars have their own unique characteristics and morals, giving us various point of views on personal and societal issues.

Our world is not much different than theirs.

I don't have much to describe, but Beastars is one of the best adaptations from a manga, in terms of changing things to fit well in another media. The ending was so beautiful that I couldn't believe from how different and how good it was.

There something to say about the art, 'cause the Orange studio truly understand the types and styles of the animation each single point and genre of the scene. This guys made a furry novel drama manga based, into the one of most beautiful, fluid and attentive anime of this year.

GIVE YOURSELF A CHANCE FOR THE FURRY. Beastars is really going to ... thrill you out.

The major strength of "Beastars" has been it's surprising emotional depth,excellent character work & great writing.Season 2 delivers on all these while taking the ideological battle a bit further.While the first season impressed with continuous analogies with human life,S2 doesn't waste any time at repeating it.Our characters have all had their arcs and we meet them as changed people.However,the new season is far more testosterone fueled than the first one.

As usual herbivores & carnivores continue to be put in precarious situations with each other.The anime treats every aspect of animal life with humanity(or "bestiality"?) "Beastars" manages to give a brilliant overview of the philosophical tidings ... of every animal.One is an idealist,one keeps running away from himself,one is completely cynical & there is this one character whose idealism stands out in the sacrifice & burden it brings with it.

The dialogue on the anime is absolutely top notch.It gives the characters so much depth & brings out their personalities so well.It is also amazing how everyone manages to be true to themselves while still causing trouble for someone else.While I could watch 10 seasons of all these characters coming to terms with their world,I felt Season 2 ended perfectly.

Highly recommend it.

this anime i something new to me with great concept...
in past i have seen many animal based anime but there was always something missing in the ...
for example take "ZOOTOPIA":--it has great world building. the writer and animator have used big brain behind the world construction that how different types of animal with different sizes can live together. but in that movie nature of an animal is not shown ..that how can they live in this harmony. What about their animal instinct, natures.
But in this anime its highlighted the nature of each animal mainly carnivorous and herbivores ,that what is difference between and how can ... they can they not live together...
what its need to live together...each animal have their personality and beliefs..
this is great anime just watch it.....

Ok, so this is a painful review to write.
So, there will be spoilers. Just a few to set my point.

At first, Beastars S2 was an amazing series, it was a show that kept me wanting more. The story was good, the characters and their development of them and the story were amazing, and it would be just way up for the first 8 or 9 episodes. I started this season when it first aired, and to be honest I was willing to give this show a solid 9, as it was well deserved in my opinion. I followed this show excited week after week, and ... it just kept getting better episode to episode.

But then, the last 4 episodes happened, and, it was bittersweet.
One of the things I loved from Beastars S2, was the fact that the world was the same as the human one, but with the carnivores and herbivores thing (As the obvious anthropomorphic animal society), but then in the last episodes, it was kinda like a shonen series with its comedic touch, as the infamous moth scene happened, I thought it was a one-time thing, so I let it slide.

Then, the next episodes after that, were the same as they were really... meh. Like, they kinda followed the story? But I just didn't feel like I was watching the show with the same quality as the first episodes.

And the last episode happened. It left me so bittersweet about it. I expected a usual epic fight, but what I got was Legoshi getting beat, Louis being the total opposite of what he had been the entire show, which, I mean, it's kinda the point the director or the author wanted to show, but, I don't know, it didn't feel natural. Some scenes were intended to be artistic expressions, but, it felt in total honesty like a yaoi scene (Shishigumi's Louis best friend x Louis in the car, Legoshi x Rizz in the middle of a fight?, and Legoshi x Louis in the top of the train rail), which isn't bad, I don't mind it, but the timing it's not the best.

Even though I'm saying all this, Beastars S2 has a lot of strong points, like the Soundtrack (I have to say, the second OP is better than the S1 one, change my mind), the characters, and the direction. In terms of story, I haven't read the manga yet, so I don't have much to say about it, I don't even know if that's the end of the story, and if it is, I don't know if I'm fine or not about it.

It's a shame this amazing show derailed that bit in the last episodes, but I still recommend watching Beastars if you're looking for something different and good. A solid 7 overall, but the first 8 or 9 episodes are a 9. Not much else to say about it.

After a stellar first season, this one was kind of disappointing. While I recognise that the season went full on into shakespearean themed writing, I have to feel like the basic storytelling of the first season was left behind. Because I don't want to spoil anything that happenes, I will talk about what doesn't happen this season, and why that disappoints me.

First of all, and most importantly, the whole romance subplot (if you can even call it that in season 1, it was basically the main plot) is just gone. The main character seems to loose all interest in the cute bunny girl and their ... romance doesn't develope in any way. Its not like they have a real falling apart over a certain issue, it feels more like the writers just wanted to write something different, so gone is the romance (which was for me the main reason the first season was so attractive). With dear-senpais dissappearing, there should be a lot to be told about her feeling of loss and Legoshis conflict of interest, deepening how the story explored the vulnerability of characters, but no, the show does nothing of that sort and just goes full on... well, I won't spoil that.

Also, what also doesn't happen is a satisfying conclusion. Everything feels just way too... out there. You remember when you were young and didn't understand way certain people would behave in the way they do, because you didn't get how motivations work? I get this feeling watching this as an adult, because the motivations are there, just hidden under layers of philosophy, so far detached from reality that it makes you wonder if this could really be such a strong motivator to go as far as some people do here. It seems less believable, less immersive, less relatable. Everybody is suddenly a larger than life figure, and that really hurt the tone of the show.

But I don't want to just trash this season. Its still better than your average anime. It has great animation and sound, and really good character writing, just the story and the overall enjoyment had to suffer in order to get the pieces into position. Which is sad. Often the simpler, more relatable stories are the one that leave the bigger impact. When season 1 was over, I literally felt lovesick for this wonderfull story. When season 2 was over, I also wanted more, but just so this show could redeem itself and have a satisfying conclusion, not whatever this was.

The ending of Beastars season 2 left such a sour taste in my mouth, sadly becoming my first review. The plot begins with such a strong conceptual turn with a deep pull to this more gritty, crime-fighting (or participating) world balanced like the two half of yin and yang. New characters are introduced and plenty of world designing plot points are developed but very few continued to be explored and those which are become layered time and time again with stretches of disbelief.

[Spoilers for just this paragraph to explain my reassoning] New characters such as the snake are developed and ... used for a singular plot point the completely forgotten, themes such as Legoshies urge to protect others are stretched thinner and thinner, and overly dramatic questionable choices are forced again and again with cheese and unsatisfying resolution. The story is able to reasonably explain scenes such as Louis being forced to eat meat but Legoshi repetitively chooses the most illogical and dramatic choice making him further and further bland, refusing to actually solve the issue until eating Louis leg for some drastic reason just to smile at Riz solving the problem. Other characters as well are just introduced and developed for little reason such as the stripper and the cheetah while primary characters such as Haru and Juno are almost left behind. Major plot ideas such as the board electing the next beaststar are thrown in then forgotten just to spice things up with such a short amount of time. Lastly, I question the need for scenes like the moth being eaten for a vision quest which then blinds Riz for a powerful attack that just doesn't match the generally realistic universe.

[No more spoilers] What angers me so much about season 2 is clear how much effort and development went into this wonderful show but the plot all this effort was laid onto feels like a first draft. A list of intriguing ideas, some of which are wonderful and some of which should be scrapped, but all thrown in without a consideration of legitimate believable reasoning and plot continuity. Sadly this season continues to create and abandon ideas while pushing and pushing the limits of its wonderful character's ideas until they snap you out of the moment questioning what you just saw. I love Beastars and I loved its potential but I must warn big fans that this season may leave you more disappointed than satisfied as many of its beautiful plot threads are unraveled and thrashed while new ones are crudely tapped along the way.

Well the second season of furros with more furros. I really liked the first one but they are very different from one to the other. The first season is more romantic than anything else. This season he is focused on the idea of ​​discovering who the murderer is. The truth becomes very entertaining and bearable. The only thing I did not like the end as I did not finish convincing but the truth I recommend it if you are reading this. Hopefully there is a third season to find out what happens to my favorite wolf.

Had a very lacklustre ending/resolution to the buildup of Tem's killer, was just "this is the guy", that being said I'm not sure what I was expecting perhaps someone that would have generated more conflict and intrigue. This is a large spoiler element so I won't say much more than that although ideologically the ideas/experience of the killer were interesting and made for a great conflict with Legosi's ideas that was resolved well, the character was not and that is partially a product of WHO the killer was. to remove some technical confusion I'm saying that: if it the killer was someone else with the ... same ideas it would have been better.

That theme of bad resolutions to buildups was extended to the Shishigumi stuff as well, although differing in that the buildup was flawed which leaves me to have no opinion on the resolution to that buildup. It felt like the story wanted me to feel a lot more invested into Louis's relationship with the Shishigumi and it created a disconnect in my immersion because I couldn't understand Louis's reaction.

Besides that I was very interested in Legosi and his journey, that's what pulled the season through for me.

Officially the most over-looked anime of the 2021 winter season, Beastars basks in a great SGI and attracting story and in being furry bait. Joking aside, I have a lot of things to say about this series.

STORY: 6/10

From a decent story about segregation and completely different races trying to live together it turns into a murder mystery. Even if it's less original, i am a sucker for mystery so i don't really mind. Still the mystery story isn't that good. It was kinda obvious who the murderer was and the ending fight was kinda boring. I understand that the characters are like that but when ... one of them looks like he's about to tear shit up and then starts talking about some dumb stuff that doesn't matter it really ruins what could have been a good scene. Still, somehow the show always kept me hooked. I cant say I ever got bored but the show dropped in quality as it aired.

ART: 8/10

I never thought i would say this but: The scenes that are drawn look out of place in all the SGI. Its not a huge problem but i just thought I'd mention it. Also I think that this show not being the only high budget full SGI show out now (of course i am talking about Durarara). It just doesn't look as impressive, but that doesn't mean it's not good. Beastars still looks amazing and has an art-style that you don't really meet anywhere.

SOUND: 9/10

Beastars has one of the most under-rated music in the history of anime. the OP and EP are bangers and the music during the show is always amazing. I don't understand why there aren't more people talking about it. The only problem i would have is that there are 2 or 3 times when the music is louder than the characters talking.

CHARACTER: 4/10

Really disappointing to be honest. NO new characters that important are introduced from season 1. You would think this would mean they could build on characters that already exist but no. The show introduces characters we never meet again and tricks us into thinking that they will be important in the future. But then Beastars ends and they literally disappear. Our MC Legosi, and Louis end up carrying the show.

ENJOYMENT: 7/10

I cant say I was hyped for every episode like i was for other series airing at the same time but as I said before, I never got bored watching it. My review may look bad but i enjoyed myself while watching the show.

ENDING STATEMENT: I think the 2nd season was worse than the 1st but I still recommend you watch the whole show. Its not going to be the best anime you'll ever watch but it is an experience you need to go through.

OVERALL: 7 (closer to a 6)

I think Beastars is a great series.

It has some fantastic characters, some great use of framing, outstanding CGI animation, and a unique OST that fits the mood of scenes very well.

But one area that I feel the series lacks is in its narrative stucture. While I believe that the plots themselves are compelling and do a great job at developing the characters to reach satisfying conclusions, the way that we get to those conclusions is often more messy than I would like.

This season is no different in that regard, and after completing it I look back and realize how many scenes were unnecessary or ... how many characters were completely forgotten. I will try to keep this review as vague and spoiler-free as possible. However, if you do not want any information going in, I will just say that you should watch it unless you completely hated the first season. This season had a slight bump-up in quality compared to the first, so if you thought the first season was just ok you may like this one more.

Now that that’s out of the way, I will start my analysis of this season. One of the most noteworthy changes in this season is the shift in focus from Legoshi’s relationship with Haru to Legoshi hunting down Tem’s killer. There is still scenes dedicated to Legoshi and Haru’s relationship, but it is put on the back burner and does not receive much screentime.

Even though this season can be described in simplist terms as Legoshi finding Tem’s killer, I would actually describe this season as taking a deeper dive into the complex relationships between carnivores and herbivores.

Legoshi learning to accept himself as a carnivore while still desiring to protect herbivores is at the center of this season, but there are also many different stories and scenes that have serve to add to this theme instead of having any significance in the plot. Because of this, some scenes may feel unnecessary, inconsequential, or forgettable by the time the season is done.

Whether this is a flaw or a strength of the series will depend upon the person watching. My opinion is that the thematic connection does enough to warrant their inclusion most of the time because it helps flesh out other characters and gives a better understanding of the world. This does not cover all of the narratively inconsequential scenes, however, because some fail to hit their mark and feel contradictory to how the characters (two particular characters dancing together at night comes to mind).

Although I do have some problems with the lack of narrative cohesion that results because of this, my biggest problem with this season is how some characters or decisions are introduced and built up as big deals, only to disappear from relevency by the end.

The introduction of the school security guard and the changes in how the Beastar will be decided are established as big deals at the beginning of the season, yet have no real importance toward the end. I assume that they will have bigger roles later in the series, but they should have at least been mentioned at the end of the season so we don’t feel left wondering what the purpose was for introducing them.

Aside from these problems, everything else that this season had to offer was top-notch. All of the good things I said about the series at the start of the review still hold true and the new characters that get introduced are very well-written.

The character writing in Beastars is some of the best in all of anime, to the point that humanoid animals feel more human than human characters in most other anime.

But the most underrated aspect of Beastars is how great the fights look. The fights are always incredibly smooth with very fluid and natural character movement and dynamic camera work that increases the intensity. While the fights don’t usually last very long, they are always a treat to watch.

But that about covers everything that I wanted to talk about in this review. I find Beastars to be one of the best anime series that has not finished yet and this season solidified that the first season wasn’t a fluke. If you haven’t started watching this series yet, I would highly recommend doing so.

It is a solid 8/10

Spoilers ahead!! Sorry for any mistakes, I hastily wrote this after re-watching the season again!!

I really liked the first season of Beastars - everything was really interesting and the concept of the friendship between Carnivore and Omnivore was a really engaging conversation to watch play out. The second season though, in my opinion, went back on the message that the first season worked hard to put forward.

A lot of the problems I have with the second season stem for the writing and that isn't to the fault of the art or sound departments - everything about season 2 was technically amazing ... as always! The ending however couldn't be saved by the talent and hardwork of everyone, the fact that Legoshi had to eat meat to overpower the villain of this arc, Riz, really didn't sit right with me - the whole point of the show was that friendship is possible and Legoshi's journey to be "sober" if you will was heart wrenching and had me cheering for him to succeed! When the ending happened though, the shows writing took a plummet as, from a theme perspective, it says that anyone that wants to be "sober" can't, it won't work and they need to give in to get stronger. It's a terrible message and one that just ruins the build up of the season and makes you feel like you just wasted your time watching it.

The ending didn't add any theme to it nor did it put an insightful perspective forward. It was just bad and I wouldn't recommend the second season to anyone until I see season 3 if they plan to make one.

In a lot of ways it was better than season 1, and in a lot of ways it just poked holes in its own narrative.

I like that they stopped playing up the 'sexuality' of the animals as much, as that was something in season 1 that was making me feel icky.
The plot focuses much more heavily on JUST Legosi, which is good because he's hands down the most compelling and likeable character.

But there's some MAJOR plot holes, like...for some reason the world in this anime acts like meat is some super-drug for carnivores. This is inherently flawed in itself, but when combined with ... other things this world presents, it becomes less believable from there.
For example, BUGS provide the same effects as meat, and bugs aren't seen as "people" in this world and are legal to eat...yet almost no one chooses to eat them?? Even the INSECTIVORES like the anteater are all eating veggies, like why?? Seriously, why??

There's a ton of LITTLE flaws for people who are well into real life animal biology, like all the cats would be dying because their protein demands are too high and their digestive tracts are too short to ever utilize vegetable protein.
Bears are omnivores and the only thing they normally 'hunt' is fish (are fish people in this world??), but they'd be just as happy eating fruits and nuts and whatnot.
DEER actually will absolutely eat meat, albeit just rarely, but there's been plenty of times they're documented eating birds and such.

And the biggest, dumbest, and spoilerest thing in this whole season was Legosi so easily abandoning his ideal of not eating meat to eat his friends foot (after he wouldn't even eat more than one BUG), and actually just WASTES it because he doesn't use that strength he gained to win the fight, he just....wins 'cause the enemy gives up???


I would have ranked it much higher if the ending hadn't been so stupid, but it was...

Up until the last episode though, it was very enjoyable, more so than the first season.

[*Insert "I'm not a furry" joke here*] Okay, now for the review. Yes, I have seen Season 1 (A LOOONG time ago and AAAY before most people probably saw it), and I thought it was okay but I felt that things didn't really pick up until towards the end the season. Anyways, with that little clarification out of the way, one with the review (watch out for the occasional nod to something that happens in the show, so maybe don't read this if you haven't watched it yet):

The Story:
While I didn't hate Season 1's slower-paced more high-school drama-styled moments, I think most people really wanted ... to see these characters have greater stakes and I'm glad to say that things are more serious here. You have characters dismembering themselves, sacrificing relationships, and feeling genuine emotions like regret (for Riz and Louis) and determination (in the case of Legoshi.) It's all really well done and we really get to see a lot of the characters and how they are both with the outside world and their inner psyche on the inside (I'm a sucker for psychological anime though sooo...yeah, take my biased opinion with a grain of salt.) I like the use of multiple perspectives with Legoshi and Louis, and I think the show develops them and their relationships (or rather their struggles) really nicely...though Legoshi's feels pretty copped out at the end.


The Art:
Just as good, if not slightly better than it was back in Season 1, a lot more experimentation is done with different styles (as seen with the basic colored outlines of the last episode) or the ending theme (and the OP also in the final episode) being perfect examples of this. It's all really clean. The animations, especially the fighting, are all really well animated, weighty and realistic, but still having it's own look to make it interesting. The fights in the last few episodes are definitely some of the best anime fights I've seen in a while. The opening and endings are also beautifully animated and help add to the powerfulness of the songs they feature. Really good stuff.

The Sound:
Also really good, obviously, it's the original CV's from the first season back again to do their voices, but the emotion in the dialogue is a lot more on-display here than in Season 1. The yells, the grunts, the reactions in the fights are amazing (guess you can tell where most of my brain of was looking during most of this.) The soundtrack's nice too, opening and ending themes are catchy are have lots of energy and emotion. The classic Jazz soundtrack seen in the original Season are back and just as classy as ever, they still really helping in immersing the viewer. Fine stuff.


The Characters (Big nods to things in the show that may be considered spoilers):
Well, the end of the first Season definitely left a lot of possibilities with how everyone could've changed afterwards and luckily the show does a good definitely does a good job capitalizing on those possibilities. Legoshi and Haru, are close, and yet soon fall apart after Legoshi is dedicated to do nothing but protecting her, only to realize she wants someone to love AND protect her. Louis struggles in the new world of the Black Market rather appropriately, being confused and scared, but ultimately putting on act to make himself look stronger than he is. The characters and their actions are realistic and really helps sell them as something more than just drama clichés (unlike the first season, even if it had its moments where it became a little more than just 'Furry High-School Drama'.) Much better than Season 1.

Overall:
Obviously, I enjoyed it, probably more than Season 1, but that's just a personal preference thing, I just wish we could've gotten a mix between more quiet and calmer moments where we see the characters develop more, and the more action-packed, serious, and guttural moments.

I'd say for Beastars fans or people who saw Season 1 and wanted more of it...I would say furries but that joke's been done to death. It's just as good, if not better than Season 1.

Beastars is marching to the beat of its own drum and that is refreshing by itself. Its beat is often mystifying, sometimes dissonant, but always unique.

Here is one of the secrets to its success: it's not really trying to make political statements about our world. The statements, or their exploration, are a product of creating a very strong world, inhabiting it with characters instead of caricatures, and then just setting the wheels in motion.

What is it exactly being a carnivore vs being a herbivore about? Is it something as simple as being strong vs being weak? Can't say it isn't. Is it also about being ... a man vs being a woman? Sure, sometimes. Is it belonging in a different race? Maybe, sometimes.

That is why it's potent. No direct comparisons can be made with our world, it's a much more organic experience. Scoring points by repeating your intended audience's politics back to them is easy, but Beastars wants to get to its truth, which might also be our truth sometimes.

It doesn't always work. Ibuki's arc in this season did not work for me at all. Louis's arc this season was hard to swallow in general. Haru, one of its best characters, was mostly absent. But, when Beastars works, there's nothing else like it. The way it revealed its secret was exemplary and so was most of its aftermath. The fact that we got to see five minutes devoted to Peach-chan and her friend defining the limits of their relationship by shopping and taking pictures together (characters that would be considered extras at best) with such heart and accuracy is nothing short of magical.

That is Beastars at its best. It's a work of art. Sometimes unwatchable. Many times excellent. Always proud to be what it is. Personal.

P.S. It looks great and probably has one of the best voice actor ensembles of all time.

In this season a plot from the beginning of the first season is taken up, which is the murder of Tem the Alpaca, that fact that left the entire school in great darkness and dividing the species more, but this season I think it does not have the same essence than the first one, you have those philosophical problems and you can also compare the world they do in the anime with the real world, but I think the way they do it is not as good as the first one, as this one focuses on the Legoshi's masculinity and how he wants to protect ... herbivores because that's his responsibility, there are some plots that were left in the air from the previous season and that they don't finish or follow, but it's still very enjoyable.
It is like in the previous one, it has a beautiful animation, which, although there are times when it fails, you let them pass since it is so good that you let them pass, the story also continues with the same quality and although it has some errors (said previously) I think you will enjoy it very much. The soundtrack is as good as the first season, plus some audio tracks from the previous one are reused (something good because this one was good from the previous season).
In conclusion, this season is good, although not as good as the previous one.

En esta temporada se retoma una trama del principio de la primera temporada que es el asesinato de Tem la Alpaca, ese hecho que dejo a toda la escuela en gran penumbra y dividiendo más a las especies, pero está temporada creo que no tiene la misma esencia que la primera, se tienen esas problemáticas filosóficas y también se puede comparar el mundo que hacen en el anime con el mundo real, pero creo que la forma en que lo hacen no es tan buena como en la primera, como esta se enfoca en la masculinidad de Legoshi y el cómo quiere proteger a los herbívoros porque esa es su responsabilidad, hay algunas tramas que se quedaron en el aire de la temporada anterior y que no las terminan o las siguen, pero aun así es muy disfrutable está.
Está como en la anterior tiene una animación hermosa, que, aunque hay veces que falla, se las dejas pasar ya que es tan buena que se las dejas pasar, la historia también sigue con la misma calidad y aunque tiene algunos errores (dichos anteriormente) creo que la disfrutaras mucho. El soundtrack es tan bueno como la primera temporada además de que se reutilizan algunas pistas de audio de la anterior (algo bueno porque desde la temporada anterior era bueno este).
En conclusión, esta temporada es buena, aunque no tan buena como la anterior.

I personally believe that the first season was better but that's just me. The relationship dynamic between Legoshi and Haru angered me a lot because they were on the fence for the whole season and never once really had a chance to be together and I partially blame Legoshi for that. I was mad at a lot of the characters in the season because so many made stupid or careless mistakes (talking about you Legoshi and Ruis). The ending was also ended on a very mysterious note so I hope there becomes another season where Legoshi and Haru get together and figure themselves out. I ... think the main reason why I gave this season such a high rating is my love for the characters and it's connection to season 2. Still, I would recommend this anime to anyone who is okay with animal/human beings.

Entertaining anime and first 11 episodes are very good . Ending is a little bit off .

This anime has a lot of potential and execution is also good.
The pace and how the story progression is well executed . Every character building is good and entertaining like Louis , Legoshi, Pina , Riz , Ikubi and characters way of thinking is almost understandable . I liked Louis character the most (till episode 11) . But somehow they messed up the ending and disturbed the Louis character.
