In your chainsaw review, u wrote that there where only 12 chapters.
I guess u got confused, the anime has 12 episodes that tied up the first 38 chapters of the manga.

Nice review of 91 Days. I thought it was interesting to call Angelo's clever schemes overall as psychological game with the mafia, although I could've sworn he did manipulate Corteo as well to an extent (used the best friend card for coercion and exploit) except there's no ill intent towards him.
