Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 2

It does not stand up to the first season, and I did not connect with the characters as much as I did the first season. The new characters were likable, but I wish we had more time with them. But it wasn't awful or anything. I found mild enjoyment while watching it, and the animation was about the same level with some moments that were great and consistent, and some(mainly the 3D animation) being just alright. Nothing too jarring.
Basically, it was fun seeing the characters I already liked interacting with new characters and in new environments. And there were decent character developments as well. The ... second season was a bit lackluster, but it was not bad.

The first season was a diamond of isekai anime, it is brilliant and it is a masterpiece. Sadly, this new sequel has gone downhill and It is quite dissapointing.

I'll cut it short why this sequel is dissapointing:
1. Unlike the first season, now the studio decide to made Filo a loli pedo bait character, it is embarrasing, disgusting and for sure targeted for a certain audience as a "fanservice".

2. There's lot more fanservices.
When people click and decide to watch "Tate no Yuusha" season 2, first thing that came to mind are what make the anime great in the first place and that gems brought us ... here to continue our heroes journey, the fact that the "Tate no Yuusha" that we knew barely have any fanservices in the first place, I'm sure people don't come here and expect more "fanservices", its not what we want when we decide to watch this prequel and what the fans are looking for.

So with that being said, this prequel is not like what you think it is, drop your expectation and look at the rating, what you're going to expect are pedo bait and more fanservices.

Overally, its just uncomfortable watching the anime.

I dont write reviews and usually I find deep, well written ones, so I will not attempt to do better than that, I will just be straight foward: this is not, even close, a good anime. The animation is ok, at beast. The fights? Forgetable.

The best point: The world in wich the story is written is interesing, has some deep we can dig.. its fine, its good.

The worst point: characters - none makes sense. Be aware, some of the worst conversations in your life. Characters that never grow, bad romances.. I just can't go on.

I thought that, after 5 episodes from first season, this ... anime would bring something new to isekai... it didnt. The end.
