Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai.

Eighteen-year-old Dale Reki is a skilled, kind, and respected traveler, acknowledged as one of the leading adventurers in the city of Kreuz. One day while on the hunt for magical beasts, he comes across a sweet devil girl named Latina. She is alone, dressed in rags, and bears the devils' symbol of a criminal: a broken horn. Concerned for her wellbeing, Dale decides to ensure Latina's safety by bringing her to his home, eventually leading to him adopting her.

Latina is sweet, innocent and compassionate, charming Dale beyond his expectations. He begins to enjoy the life of parenthood— experiencing the trials that come with raising a child and coping with the heartache he feels whenever his busy lifestyle as an adventurer parts him from her.

Although work and life as a new parent become reassuring constants for Dale, the mysteries surrounding the girl remain. Why was Latina alone in the forest, and why does she harbor the symbol of a criminal? At the same time, Latina also begins to learn about the world and herself as she adjusts to her new life with Dale.

Story: It's not perfect but it's not bad. As you can tell from the title, it's about the MC adopting a young child (a devil). He meets her at the forest and decides to take her as her guardian. They both have great relationship as the story progress. There isn't much action while there is a bit of adventure and some good slice of life. I don't usually watch this kind of story but this is quite a unique one.

Character(s): None of the characters are not bad except that one teacher from school. The MC is quite a doting "father" but he's a great warrior ... or "hero." Latina is a very cute young girl and I like her a lot.

Animation: Not much. It's good.

Music/Sound: It's good and likable.

Conclusion: I can only recommend this to someone who's looking for a cute and more-than-a-family relationship then this is for you. I absolutely love this anime and I want to let everyone know that there is someone like me here. Too bad there isn't a second season. I rarely love this kind of anime.

Mixed Feelings

A cute slice of life anime with a cute demon girl (named Latia) and her defacto adoptive father MC (Dale).
Art:
So, the art is a little bland but manageable, dont expect demon slayer kind of animation, but it was okay.
Music:
The music were also average, the op and ed are not bad, not great, just generically good. The BGM is good most of the times, but there are several instances where the music really does not fit the scene (sometimes bad music choice, sometimes the completely different music is left after a previous scene).
Story:
Well, this is where the show kind of fall apart for me (usually in ... other reviews worldbuilding is mentioned as a separate point, but I will include it here). How can a slice of life series have a bad story, when they usually dont have one at all? Exactly what happened here, they tried to gice out a lackluster story in a slice of life heavy series, and it made it worse, than if it would have had no story at all. The world building is kind of okay for a slice of life, so when you look at it like that it is okay, slightly above average, but I have seen a lot of self proclaimed fantasy-action-adventure series with lot less world building.
So to write without spoilers, the show tries to touch on some heavy subject and tries to start some unique story strands, but fall incredibly short. It tries to do these in almost every episodes for some minutes, and then goes back to meaningless answers and slice of life content, like nothinf had happened in universe 10 minutes ago, which was 10 seconds for the watcher. The story they started could have been pretty good, but as I said nothing ever comes of it, even when you try to make some headcanon you get stalled by the fact, that there is nothing to work with. As I mentioned, the show tried to touch on some heavy subjects, like racism and the passage of time, but instead of finding answers (which good shows do), guiding you to find your own answer (which great shows do), they are like: Nah, girl cute, love her until I die. Thats the pgilosophic answer they managed to come up with. It would not be bad, as it is in fact a slice of life series, but if you have no gut or just dont know how to do a slice of life with serious philosophy, then just dont do it, have a simple SOL and thats it.
As you could have guessed, the show has no direction, not even for a SOL series, like if every episode would have been directed by a different director and noome had any idea what to do for those 20 minutes of runtime (Somehow, Latia has returned).
They try to force some heavy philosophical thing down your throat, and when it does not work they throw im the cuteness bomb to make you forget what they just tried until the next episode.
Characters:
Another shortcoming, especially for a SOL series, our Female Mc, Latia (can we even call her a female mc, well, I dunno, probably can) is the most interesting out of the bunch, but thats not saying much. She has some character, but no real growth or depth other than being cute and kind, the kind of character you have to have in a story like this, and having some trauma from the story bits. Our mc starts out as an interesting character, but after the fated encounter with female mc, devolves into a parody of an irritatingly overprotective father (There were some innuendos, but I really hope they just remain an adoptive father-daughter, instead of you know what else).
There are some side charactera who have a semblance of a personality, but thats it, nothing much, just a hope that they will have at least some personality, while the majority of side characters have nothing going on for them, not even a chance of having personality traits.
This is especially bad, as a SOL series lives and dies by its characters.
Overall (TL, DR):
Average series, with no or straight up confused direction, too trying to be philosophically edgy and too shitty characters to be truly enjoyable as a Slice of Life, to shitty story and world building to be truly enjoyable as anything else. But overall I still had some fun while watching it, even tough I never felt any connection to any characters or scenes.

This anime is about a young girl named Latina, a girl from the demon tribe, who is adopted by Dale, a brave man not long after Latina's father had passed away, Dale more of a "father figure" to little Latina then a guardian, The story follows Latina growing up and being raised by Dale.

Although the story is pretty cute, and the artstyle is pretty good, something feels....missing.

The father-daughter love between Dale and Latina is adorable, who wouldn't love a wholesome bond between a parent and their child? and if its so admirable, why did it all go wrong?

Dale, even though he seems like ... a cool guy, he can get seriously annoying at times, he seems to be obsessed with Latina, I know many fathers are overprotective for their daughters, but Dale, he is a bit too much.

And yes, I know Latina's cute, but jesus, the show doesnt have to say it every 5 seconds! Like we get it! the girl's cute! dont shove it in our faces by crazing over it goddammit!
