Synopsis

A new year signifies a new beginning, and that seems to be the case for Kitauji High School’s concert band. Following the graduation of the third-year seniors comes the entrance of the first-year juniors. The band members put in their utmost effort in practicing for their goal—to enter nationals.

The now second-year Kumiko Oumae, along with her friends, is met with the new and quirky batch of first-years, resulting in friction and conflict between the band members. However, as time passes, their inner feelings slowly unravel, but not every conflict is as easy to solve as the other. The trust and bonds between the band members will be challenged as they push forward for their regionals.

First thing’s first, this isn’t Liz and the Blue bird, (although that film is a side story to this one) the eupho movie that people actually care about. Kyoto ani made two recap films and this is a sequel to those, meaning it’s also a sequel to the show, and actually develops the themes of maturing that the show promotes. The film is set in the year after the show takes place, which means that we’re introduced to new kouhai and have to say goodbye to best girl and also the other senpai I guess.

Actually I didn't expect that the Hibike series would continue. Because I think the ending in season 2 is enough and doesn't leave an empty space for a sequel. But apparently this anime could have a sequel because they added a lot of new characters.

There's not much drama in this anime. The part of the story that deserves to be called drama in this anime only lies in the problems and point of view that Kanade has. Fast-paced storyline: I'm not enjoying Hibike! Euphonium Movie 3: Chikai no Finale at all.

Storyline: Personally, I think that the new characters are very interestingly laid out. Many characters, both in the foreground and background, can contribute to a good story. But the problem is that the screening time of the anime movie is very short, and as a result, I didn't enjoy the story at all. Personally, I think Hibike!
