Synopsis

During a monster attack on the city, which is something that happens quite often, Silk and her two friends try get close to the attacking monster for a better view. An unfortunate choice of location to watch from leads to UFO-man, the city's giant protector, to land on the girls crushing them to death. Feeling sorry, UFO-man blames their death on the monster and promises to bring Silk and her friends back to life by lending them his power but the catch is that they now have to become the city's protector as well.

Story 5/10
There is relatively no story to this show but what they have came up with and how they manage to execute the show was done the "best they could" with the 10 minute time span and ultraman universe. Minus the really lame drama in between the action.

Art 7/10
The giant monsters are drawn with just enough detail to go "oh wow" and the way they \'tastefully\' cover up the main characters naughtybits is pretty slick as well.

Sound 7/10
Most of the sound consist of crashing noises, crying and screaming. So nothing really special. Well i did like the transform song and sound effects that read more

You know what? I like loli anime, and I like ecchi comedy, and I like parody. Yet, here I am, feeling personally violated and downright insulted with this mixed abortion of all of the above; a vile, downright filthy Ultraman parody that stoops itself as low as it possibly can and expects us, the viewers, to be entertained. Imagine if the ____ Movie guys made Anime Movie. This is it. This is the bottom of the fucking barrel. This is Ultimate Girls.

This is considered the anime that finally put the infamous company m.o.e. out of work and for good reason. There are plenty of fun anime with no plot of characters, littered with fanservice. This isn't one of them. The fanservice here is just downright demeaning. Here the characters actually get their powers from being stripped and grabbing onto an alien's phallic device, to which the girl transforms by yelling "I'm coming!"

This probably sounded hilarious in its conception phase to a bunch of drunk guys in Japan, but fully fleshed out (no pun intended, I swear), it's just plain offensive. Girls who stumble across this should feel demeaned by how much the three main girls are flaunted around in the buff and praised for it. Guys should feel downright ashamed watching this, as every single guy in the series is a massive pervert who pretty much get off on watching the three girls fight monsters while their clothing disappears only a few moments after they transform.

Everything about this anime is insulting. The girls clothes start to disintegrate approximately five seconds after they transform. The transformation sequences are downright pornographic. The way they defeat their perverted enemies, with weapons like semen guns (shit you not) is by yanking on a certain appendage meant to be a metaphor for a penis. It may sound funny, but it's really just cringe-worthy.

The animation and music is cheap crap, much like the other fine products of the illustrious m.o.e. so lets just skip covering it.

Even Mars of Destruction was fun to ridicule for its ability to load cliches on top of cliches at rapidfire, but this isn't fun at all. All the animatiors and voice actors should issue formal apologies for choosing to work on this, and the creator should be dragged into the streets of Akihabara and publicly stoned. At long last I have finally found a 1, an anime that is entirely unwatchable. Sexist to both ends, demeaning, and downright stupid, I feel violated by this anime enough that I'm going to go take a shower now. To those who still want to watch it despite this warning, may God have mercy on your soul.

Overall, I give Ultimate Girls a deserving 1 out of 10.

This review contains minimal spoilers! (Not that there is a lot to spoil…)

Story- Ultimate Girls’ story revolves around 3 girls who have been given special powers to fight random monsters that attack Japan every Monday. They have the ability to grow Godzilla-size, but the catch is that the longer the girls remain in giant form, the more their clothes start to disappear (how wonderfully ecchi! ^^). It would have made for a fun, humorous story with ecchi moments scattered throughout the plot, however, somebody made the bad decision to try to add a romantic plot line into the storyline which revolved around two of the Ultimate girls (Silk and Vivian) and the other Ultimate girls’ brother, whose name is unimportant. Attempting to add a somewhat serious subplot into a ridiculous anime hurt Ultimate Girls’ story more than it enhanced it. This made half the episodes quite boring to watch as meager attempts at adding a romantic plot kept interrupting the fun of the rest of the show.

Art- Most of the artwork wasn’t very exciting to look at and the colors that were used were very childish- they included primarily bright reds, blues, and yellows. The parts of the show that artwork was given any serious focus or attention to detail were during the ecchi moments. This is where most of the effort should have been focused anyway since most people watching this series would probably be watching it for gratuitous amounts of fan service anyway. Besides that, there isn’t much to comment on in terms of art, I suppose the action scenes were animated well enough and the setting was appropriate, even though it included too many childish colors.

Sound- I’m not sure how to even properly comment on an ecchi series’ sound, but I’ll give it a shot. The background music wasn’t very noticeable except song that sounded like a remix of some traditional middle-eastern song. I have odd tastes in music, so I personally enjoyed this tune even though it didn’t fit in with the series at all. The opening song was quite unoriginal, with stale female vocals, a guitar, some drums, etc. I couldn’t be bothered to listen to the ending song, so I can’t give a competent comment on it. Sound effects were fun: I loved over-exaggerated crash noises that went off during the fight scenes. It made some of them quite funny and memorable, particularly when the first monster smacked Silk with the Eiffel Tower and she came crashing down to the ground. XD And, of course, all the high-pitched ecchi noises were properly included in the show as well.

Character- I would have been fine with minimal character development so that the producers could have spent more time focusing on the funny aspects of the show, but the sad attempts at character development ruined this. We had all the stereotypical ecchi characters- the ENF (embarrassed nude female) as Silk, the “mature woman” as Vivian, and the wild/crazy Haruhi-esque girl as Tsubomi. Each character really did not have much depth behind them and there wasn’t much to work with when trying to form a romantic love story between the characters and Tsubomi’s brother. Each character reacted in a typical matter to certain situations, displayed a minimal range of emotions, and did not grow in any way throughout the story.

Enjoyment- The anime was fun for its humor and ecchiness, but the boring love story really took a lot of the enjoyment out of the series, making it a boring watch for a good six or seven episodes (over half the series!). My enjoyment died the more I watched the series until I was ready to take a long nap by episode 12. *Yawn*

Overall- Ultimate Girls was fun to watch for a laugh with friends, but trying to take it seriously really ruins the fun factor and leaves the viewer with feeling bored and unsatisfied. If you are looking for some fun ecchi-action, Ultimate Girls is for you, but if you expect any sort of developed plot to go along with it, you will likely be thoroughly disappointed.

This is the WORST anime I have ever seen. In fact this anime shut down the company called m.o.e. which created Cosprayers which is also one of my most hated anime.

I thought that m.o.e. (Master of Entertainment) creators of cosprayers might learn from their mistake and make a better anime, but no. They took things to the extreme level which is downright insulting. They created Ultimate Girls that is an ultraman parody. They further put insult and rape on the Ultraman material.

In fact, this anime made the 1966 Ultraman series look like a masterpiece.
