Tsugumomo

The same , genre, such as supernatural, ecchi, fantasy etc, where the plot involves guy who encounters a bad entity and was saved by some maho girl, the differences were: in Isuca the girl is kinda of a tsundere, while in Tsugumomo, the girl is a dere dere.  

Tsugumomo (manga from 2007) felt to me like a simplified, coarser sibling of Monogatari Series (light novel from 2006) with more conventional art and writing. I wouldn't call it a clone both have source material of similar age, both actively publishing still. The similarities in world, characters and premise are stunning nevertheless and run down to small details. This is particularly true for the supernatural partner of MC. Both Kiriha and Shinobu are females bound with a master-servant pact and nearly one with their partners. Both change age appearance according to power level, and are in loli form most of the time. Both are dominant bordering tsundere, shameless, a little bit arrogant, prefer no-pan and lofty dresses, live in symbiosis with their masters, are sweet teeth (pudding vs. doughnuts), and so on. Almost twins separated at birth. Both shows have harems made of humans and supernatural entities, including multiple lolis. In these, Tsubasa Hanekawa and Chisato Chikaishi are another pair of siblings separated at birth. Both are achievers in school, meganes, have a thick braid hairstyle, are shy, and have their own supernatural backstory. Overall, Tsugumomo is a much lighter and easier watch, at popcorn level. Tsugumomo is the dumber sexualization with a episodic bed and bath ecchi segments, penis jokes, and frequent gratuitous nudity. Monogatari has less, more refined and more heavy hitting ecchi moments than that. And Monogatari's writing and dialog is, of course, Monogatari grade. Whereas Tsugumomo is pretty conventional erotic action rom-com popcorn grade. Both shows are different enough to enjoy both universes nevertheless. read more
