Freshman Kaho Nikaidou is from an influential family, and as such, no one has ever said anything even remotely mean to her, for fear of incurring her household's wrath. Wishing to be around people who will not treat her as special because of her background, she leaves home to live at a dormitory for her new school year. Shortly after arriving, Kaho accidentally wanders into traffic and is saved by a tall, handsome stranger. When she asks for his name, he tells her she is weird and walks away. Having finally met the only person to ever say an unkind word to her, Kaho falls head over heels for her savior.

After meeting her rescuer yet again and discovering that his name is Kanade Takahashi, she confesses her love to him. Kanade says he would like for them to be a couple, but that Kaho may not want to date him after she finds out his secret. To her shock, Kaho discovers the startling truth: Kanade is a fifth grader!

Deciding that she can't date a fifth grader, Kaho intends to break up with him. But as she spends more time with Kanade, she begins to care for him even more and continues dating him. Hatsukoi Monster follows Kaho's first steps into love with Kanade, her immature, yet kind, fifth grade boyfriend.

Ok, so this retard anime has ended....it maybe a retard anime, but, it's a very good retard anime, since it's anime's genre comedy and romance did played well into it, so how do I rate it?

Storywise, it's not a typical romcom anime, were it involves a typical normal guy and a girl, you see this thing has a twist, it's more of a sotacon romance were the girl is older than the guy, but we're not talking about older girl and younger guy here, cu'z guy here is kid in a teenage body.....or what we call a retard, but then again leave it to ...

Mixed Feelings
The really low reviews and ratings on this is what made me curious, I wanted to see what it was all about because the synopsis actually sounded decent to me.

I've never heard wiener said so many times said in an anime, especially just in the first episode.. But I didn't hate it.
It is a little weird hearing 'kids' that look like older teenagers talking and acting like children.

Kaho is adorable, she's been pretty sheltered in her life. People wouldn't do anything wrong to her or talk to her certain ways because of who her parents are, so when somebody finally does she has no ...

Let’s make one thing clear. If you love penis jokes, gross indecent crushes and a siscon then this series is perfect for you. If you don’t; welcome to the world of common sense.

Hatsukoi Monster was a show that I was looking forward to quite a bit. I’m a sucker for cute girls in plotless romance series (Ore Monogatari, Orange, etc). You see I don’t need a smashing ingenious plot to enjoy something. What I //do// need is a plot that doesn’t ridicule me. And well. That’s where this show went wrong.

While the first few episodes introduce us to our characters ...
