Interest Stacks  The new anime release format that appeared in the mid-80s brought new opportunities for studios and various works began to be released on videotapes. Some of them were frankly terrible, but some became classics with a recognizable style and aesthetics. I bring to your attention works worth viewing.   Animes with body horror and are gore.   This is a collection of all the Devilman Anime in nonspecific order   //List of shows that (to my knowledge) have an italian dub   OVAs and movies that aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious.   Kick back with your choice of inebriant or lack thereof and have some fun watching action heroes battle it out with all sorts of weapons, explosives, superpowers and machines. OVAs aren't usually very long so you don't even need to commit. You don't need to think too much and don't take it so seriously. These shows are all about having a good time and maybe some laughs along the way.  A continuation of my previous stack, "Anime Based on Significantly Older Manga", exclusively including remakes. The manga must have been at least 15 years old when the anime released. Organized in ascending order by length of time between manga and remake.     The criteria this time is no criteria. This is the final list in my Obscurities series. If there is any criteria, it's that I think you should watch these despite their quality, popularity, or even my rating, because you should see 'em. There's some good, some bad, and some real head-scratchers in here. It's mixed bag time in here!   As simple as the title suggest, a stack of anime that have a remake   These are films that may appeal to an otaku with an ENFJ or INFJ-type personality.   are you like me and struggle to enjoy most yaoi anime? then this stack is for you. here r some series that are either explicitly gay or they might as well be that are actually decent to watch . (also titled: i gain more entertainment from anime by putting on fujo goggles)   Horror intensived if such scenarios existed in real life or sometimes just for pure gore and violence, it can traumatize/terrify the weak minded.   I will try to put as many anime where tomboys have been the protagonists or are very present in the story. Some series are repeated.   Standalone Animes Movies & OVAs from the 80s & 90s that I want to watch.   Titles that got remakes (Sometimes a better one, sometimes a worse one)   Neon Genesis Evangelion is widely considered one of the most influential anime ever made, and a multitude of series were created to follow the leader, copying from its premise, characters, aesthetics, themes, and any combination of the previous. Here's some anime that can be considered to be EVA clones. Note: Some series that, in contrast, inspired EVA are included at the end.   These anime can look as beautiful as they are nightmarish.   Releases which draw in meaningful ways from the named esoteric Hellenic spiritual tradition in their symbolism, themes, or both (Alchemy, Kabbalah, etc.). Most elements from the practice are fairly perennial in their implementation, and this is something up to interpretation, so I've tried to be strict without relying on explicit references. |
