I got ya fam, here are a few shows that aren't super psychological or plot-oriented stuff, and are best enjoyed when your brain is weary and wants to digest something light and comforting.

A collection of anime about high school life packed with comedy to keep you entertained.

My favorite animes that should give just about everyone a least one or two good laughs.
NOT a 100% pure comedy anime list
Im not going to put all seasons of the same anime on here. If the first season is on, i will apply the rec for alle the following seasons.

Overflowing with situational comedy, the everyday school life of the most ordinary teenagers, a large number of side characters with various funny gimmicks that create a kind of elusion of the reality of this quirky world. The fun soundtrack, the urban setting, and the vibes of old teen shows from my childhood are one of the most valuable things I love about anime. I've always been particularly fond of big-cast shows like this because of the nostalgic high school atmosphere and sitcom style of humor they provided, so I wanted to create a separate list for that.

For this reason, I tried to avoid fantasy, but still added some examples due to the fact that they still retain the right atmosphere and vibes. Also, some of these shows are high school romance, some are all-male or all-female comedies, so I decided to collect several options at once.

Anime in which characters have delusional personas, or believe they are a fictional character. Others may think they are out of touch with reality.

Chūnibyō (中二病) is a Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose delusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers. These are anime that are centered around school clubs. Doesn't matter if the club is not actually a club lol. If they call it a club, then it is a club.

Most of them are funny, slice of life type of anime. The rule is that there is a club involved somehow.

Anime for when you just want to relax or have a laugh.

Probably a short interest stack since I am a bitter person and I hardly find stupid-funny stuff that makes me laugh, but maybe if I find them I can share with you, or you can recommend me similar stupid things.

Zany comedy in a school setting or featuring high schoolers

Here is a list of anime that are not the best ones, but can definitively kill some time.



OBS: Some shows are really shitty but can be quite enjoable.

These are some anime that I thought was somewhat niche (even though some of them are popular), but feel fresh and interesting to sit down and watch when burnt out from all the goofy anime that come out every year.

Will update this list if I think of anything to add

No Harem or Love Polygons/Triangles.

The anime in this stack are all comedy anime with a main cast that isn't just one gender; allowing for more diverse humour and comedic situations.

Romance anime with only 2 characters in the main cast won't be included.
