I have my bachelors in history and like anime, video games, VTubers, and music. I am in the process of learning the Japanese language, but I am still only intermediate. I wish to become fluent and possibly live in Japan someday! In fact, I would love to travel all over the world someday so I can die knowing that I have left my shell and seen what the world is really like outside my little bubble (I also just love to learn more about different cultures as well as the history surrounding them).

I am continuously listening to music. I am mostly into rock music (especially alternative), but I love every genre of music. I listen to mostly rock these days, but I have a continuously growing love for metal and I like rap too. Pop I still go back to sometimes. However, video game music is something I listen to just as often as regular music, because it captures so many different vibes that most other "regular" music cannot.

I also really like VTubers! Although I watch them a bit less these days. I am really big on Hololive, but I also watch some other VTubers. I am familiar with all of the Hololive girls to some degree. My absolute favorite VTubers are Selen Tatsuki/Dokibird, Shiori Novella, Koseki Bijou, Ninomae Ina'nis, Gawr Gura, Omaru Polka, and Inugami Korone. I would love to talk about VTubers with you if you are interested!

I am also a massive gamer. I've played TONS of different video games and have been playing games since I was extremely young (around 4 years old...my first memory is of playing Wario in Mario Kart Double Dash...🙂). They are a nice way for me destress and get my mind off things. Even super hard games are nice. I'd rather be getting salty over Elden Ring than having an existential crisis! My 2 favorite video game series are The Legend of Zelda and Metroid. I grew up playing Nintendo and have always been a huge fan of these games. They immerse me like nothing else!

People close to me have described me as down-to-earth, friendly, honest, open-minded, and vulgar. I have a very dark and occasionally sexual sense of humor, so if you are both sensitive to dark humor and get embarrassed by sexual stuff...I'll keep that in mind but be aware! I really like to form close relationships with people and am not very interested in loose acquaintances. I like to go deep with those I care about and dislike shallow small talk. I get existential and like to go on tangents.
