I would still play games in this club, with the right people. Many of us went our own way and don't have the same level of time to dedicate to mafia, but there's always a way to rekindle that flame. By now, I've hosted a few games in another club which has nothing to do with forum mafia, and I've had better success there than I probably would here at this moment, which says a lot about a club specifically formed with the idea of giving anime watchers a space to discover this great game of mafia with its various setups and themes people can come up with. I can see why Jack isn't super happy about the dead silence, when you think about how this club was at one point notorious enough to e.g. partner up with MALoween a few years in a row and have all sorts of staff dedicated to various tasks. We didn't have thousands of members, but the amount of people dedicated to playing in every second game was impressive, and that only happened because we had people to set the example and help out newcomers.
As for the new site, I tried it for a few games and that was fine by itself, but for some reason the initial feeling of alienation didn't dissipate over time. Maybe I had grown too warm of playing in this MAL environment. I realized that keeping up with another site wasn't quite it for me. I remember being averse to the idea when it was first brought up, but back then I thought maybe I should let go of these feelings, that it's not my place to make a case out of this, and that if people want to try playing on another site, well I shouldn't spoil the fun.
Maybe it's also not my place to go on about this topic, but I've spent too much time here to simply think of it as a place I should remove from my memory just because it isn't what it used to be. Yeah, at some point I unfortunately started thinking "it was pretty cool in here" instead of "it is pretty cool in here"

@Jackrito jup, kinda sad what a turn this has taken. Happened pretty fast too. Funny to see things flaring up once in a while here, though it's hard to keep track and actually something going while not being active on MAL anymore. That's why I was against the whole different website thing in the first place, oh well. Awesome people here, hope everyone is doing well?

I hate how dead this has became. Espically now the Site we changed to died also. I loved this community then , and I still do. I spend over 5 years building this up, and seeing it like it is now I find super depressing.
