Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Life is but a mystery itself and mystery shows merely cover a portion of it. MLR (Matantei Loki Ragnarok) is a example of such a work. Using Norse Mythology as it's background, it tries to mix supernatural events with mystery. The story isn't the most amazing thing you'll come across, but it's still good. Characters aren't the most amazing, the female MC is very generic, often found in many other mystery works, such as Spiral (Which i think is a little better than this). I like this a little more than most people, most likely anyways, because i love the whole premise of mythology

There will be a little Bias in this review, because after watching about 2-3 episodes of this show, i fell in love with it. This story is one of the biggest underdog stories in the anime world, i'd say even more so than Hajime no Ippo and EyeShield 21. In those 2 shows, the respective characters had strengths in their respective fields right from the beginning (Ippo=Great Power for Boxing, Sena=Great Speed for Football). But our MC here doesn't have any of that from the get go. He has to learn about his strengths and weaknesses and tries his absolute best to try to change.

I didn't want to write a review but i felt i had to when i read the top reviews of Kuroko no Basuke comparing it to Slam Dunk, saying it might be better. Jesus Christ people, you are comparing a Classic work of the Past to a over hyped, overrated show. We have believable characters with strengths and weaknesses, who can't make half court shots here, who can't make shots while in a position like you are doing the hoola hoop. Okay, so let's get this started, shall we? I haven't done too many reviews so spare with me here. A football anime that's unique from others would be a way to describe Ginga e Kickoff. It actually had the potential to be a 8 or even a 9 but why is it a 7? Well, read ahead. The story is indeed quite unique and the main character isn't overpowered like in other soccer animes but guess what? Other players are overpowered twice as much to make up for it. This movie is better than the show itself, i'll start off with that. I would give Bleach itself a 7 or 7.5 but i gave this movie a 9. Why? Well, a lot of it is because of my enjoyment but there are other reasons as well. It's easily seen that they put alot more effort in this movie than they would in a regular episode. Senna, the main female in this movie, makes a amazing entrance. There are also other scenes where it's also very well done. Senna is also one of the best Bleach characters, ever. She is, in my opinion, levels ahead
