I didn't want to write a review but i felt i had to when i read the top reviews of Kuroko no Basuke comparing it to Slam Dunk, saying it might be better. Jesus Christ people, you are comparing a Classic work of the Past to a over hyped, overrated show. We have believable characters with strengths and weaknesses, who can't make half court shots here, who can't make shots while in a position like you are doing the hoola hoop. Likeable characters, development. Granted the art and sound isn't the best but it's from the 90's. It annoys me to no ends when a show that's only good for it's flashy moves and art is said to be as good as or even better than a show in which they actually play basketball. It's obvious i liked this show and if you watched Kuroko, please actually WATCH this show before you compare them, because then you'll see what they have in Kuroko isn't basketball. It's magic tricks with a basketball and of course magic tricks will amuse some people. If you actually well informed, then you'll be able to tel the difference between the magic trick and actual basketball.
