The 21st and final episode of Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia (Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front - Babylonia) ended with announcement on Saturday that the final chapter of the game's first arc, Fate/Grand Order: Shuukyoku Tokuiten Kani Jikan Shinden Solomon (Fate/Grand Order: Final Singularity - The Grand Temple of Time: Solomon), is receiving an anime adaptation.

The anime will debut under the title Fate/Grand Order: Kani Jikan Shinden Solomon (Fate/Grand Order: The Grand Temple of Time - Solomon). Production staff from the Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia anime series will return to work on the new anime.

The television anime adapting the Dai Nana Tokuiten Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia (Fate/Grand Order: Seventh Singularity - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia) chapter from the game premiered on October 5 last year. Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE simulcast the anime as it aired in Japan. Funimation is also streaming an English dub.

Toshifumi Akai helmed the anime at CloverWorks, with assistant director Miyuki Kuroki (The iDOLM@STER SideM). Toshiaki Takase (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata) designed the characters, and Fate anime franchise's original character designer Takashi Takeuchi served as the lead character designer.

The anime adaptation of the game's Sixth Singularity—Shinsei Entaku Ryouki Camelot (Sacred Round Table Realm Camelot)—is being split into two theatrical films. Fate/Grand Order: Shinsei Entaku Ryouiki Camelot - Wandering; Agateram will premiere on August 15 in Japan, with the second film slated for a late 2020 release.

So, can I at least hope for Lostbelt arcs?

Then again, I'm still quite salty for other singularities not having anime adaptation.

I am skeptical this will be any good for that reason. The bulk of this chapter centers around callbacks to the earlier chapters of FGO, which the viewer is likely to have no knowledge of. I'm hoping I am wrong, but that is one red flag...

...And this is another. It sure sounds like this will be a TV anime, even though Camelot is far longer than Solomon's Temple. Why this gets more screentime to tell its story than Camelot does is baffling to me. I am satisfied with how Babylonia turned out, but I am rather concerned with this project.

Well, movies format for Camelot garantees is going to be looking pretty all the time.

This thing over here REALLY should be like, 3-4 OVAs.
Unless they go hard on anime original content, like showing the war Marisbury won, Mash life in Chaldea pre-protag, etc, etc. And some flashbacks of some of the relevant fights in the first 5 singularities.

Even so, is going to feel so very dragged in the middle.

Oh yes, the Camelot movies should be gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing them, but I am a little nervous about trying to cover that much material in that little time. Solomon has a fraction of the content, but appears to be getting even more screentime. I hope we're wrong and it actually is a 3-ep OVA, because there just isn't that much to work with here. I am getting visions of The Hobbit trilogy, where maybe two hours of content bloated out to an unrealistically large runtime for the source material.

This might be problematic for some people, because it will be equivalent of Endgame and you'll need information from all singularities in order to avoid major confusions.

...this is going to be a full cour, not OVA/movie?

But how? Solomon does not have that much material. The begining and the end, sure, is solid, but the middle if is kind of dry, just singularities partners NP-ing pillars non-stop, while making some snark comments to each other. And half of it will be full contextless for the non players.

Oh, well, at least there is even increased hope for Epic of Remnant adaptations.

You replied to a post of a troll/alt account that was shitting on the fate franchise and its fans in another thread.

If this is the final singularity, isn't it too early to adapt it?

And is GO Camelot going to be released before or after it?

The Solomon singularity is the conclusion of the Observer on Timeless Temple Arc of Grand Order, there are more singularities after it.

Also the anime does not follow the chronological order, such as Camelot which comes after Babylonia, so it can always adapt the other singularities.

finally 'Endgame' of FGO arc 1 get adapted!

Although i hope they're make at least an OVA about other singularities so anime-only viewer will not be confused for almost 100++ cast which would present in this adaptation of Solomon (yes it would be so many cast if they're adapt it right just like the game do in the story)

So excited to this. Fully animated Barbatos bullying, Ars Nova and humanity's last stand fist fight

nice so we can expect high quality animation at least since the direction/execution of Babylonia is poor
